There were many other problems with them, and they know about this thread, so they can read it whenever they want. Dunno what they thought, but I believe that they expected shitloads of money just as Insexsity earned, and then they disappeared after like a month of the game being released.
If it was a cash grab, I wouldn't release free versions for everyone and would put more exclusive stuff into higher tiers. Not to mention that I have a well-paid job right now and worked on multiple indie games. If it was a cash grab, I would give up on this project months ago, because we have like $100 per month after almost a year of working on it, so it's hardly worth it. I'm a game dev out of passion and wanted to try making a hentai game for some time, and Insexsity happened to be closest to what I wanted to create. And with each update UotW is straying more and more from Insexsity. Almost all plugins and tools I use were programmed by me alone from scratch and exclusively for this title, and it took a lot of time. If I wanted to get paid after finishing the project, I would go to Steam or Dlsite. We released the game too early, but don't say that we aren't allowed to have tiers on Patreon, because it's pure ignorance now. Yet I totally agree with you that Patreon supports such cancerous behavior, when you don't finish the game on purpose, because it gives you a lot of money monthly. And please, I've hardly spent any time on marketing. I didn't even start this thread myself, just found it. We have only like a dozen of screenshots (pressing print screen button while testing the game is really fast), my twitter posts are copy-paste about new updates being released, and you can check my Discord channel as well, there's hardly any marketing, sneakpeaking and so on. I've spent much more time on writing this post than on spreading the word about the v0.06 being released, lol. And it's just a matter of time before someone starts uploading the newest game version here, so everyone will be able to play it for free.
