Ehh people investing for a Result not some promises you never gonna hold shipping or shipping in 20 years.
If you not ready for something big than don't promise anything and be clear with people what to expect and with clear i mean crystal clear.
Else get a Job or bake small at the beginning but don't make it another help me to survive project.
Experimenting on something you shouldn't let others pay for this it is your obligation to take this risk and cost.
Of course if you find people who are willing to go with you this way nothing wrong about it but make it crystal clear what to expect and if you are unsure yourself also prepare them that your project could fail.
They're sadly way to many black sheep's around, that are very unclear on purpose in their communication.
