Not gonna lie, I'm a bit of a weirdo with my h-games. 9/10 of the ones I download and keep have the incest kink. It's pretty much the first tag that I look for. Obviously this one doesn't have it, and I'm guessing it probably won't if there hasn't been a patch by now. But looking at those character models... I may just have to try the game out anyway lol

The story is written in a way that patched to incest would let you being the nephew in the best case, or in some events should the most of the conversation left out and than the rest would'nt make sense.

In the folder "...\UndercoverLove-Episode4-pc\game\gui\" there is a "game_menu.jpg" you can "save as" png with windows paint. For me it worked.

Game doesnt work on Windows. Downloaded twice now. Get an exception when i try to access the save menu in game.

I dont remember how it was before, but the "animations" ending by themselves and going instantly to the next scene is a bad idea, i dont remember being like this before.

For example, when you catch Claudia masturbating in the living room, you almost cant see the scene because its short and instantly goes into the next image

Why is there a Harem tag if i have to choose between the Ladies?

You will be able to go through all options eventually, I did however want to give people options of choosing which girls they wanted to be involved with, which will later affect future scenes. Did your choices lean towards Claudia only? Single route. Did your choices have a mix of Claudia and Sasha? Different scenes. And so on and so fourth. In the grand scheme of things, the game just started. Only on day 4.

Man these are beautiful renders but the sex scene are so bad. You need to put in some descriptive text of what's going on. example the shower BJ no text describing her performing oral sex just a 2 frame animation that repeats for a minute how is anyone supposed to get off to that without descriptive text.

All of the animations that are essentially image sequences will be replaced with videos. I have the videos for Claudia's shower scene already set up, I just need the week or week and a half to render them. With my current PC, it takes me 6-18 hours to render a 100 frame clip, depending on how well I can cut down the scene. I am going to be pushing out an Episode 4.1 and 4.2 that will include both music, sound effects and all video content coming up to date over the next month or so. The scene with Sasha at the pool, Claudia date, Sasha in her room on day 1, Claudia at night watching porn are all examples of scenes that I am going to be doing video work on.

I had also thought about how to have an "end" button and loop the animation until the player presses it. I'll look into this and see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback.

In the future, I'll be doing the video work in sequence to the update, as I'm planning on purchasing a better PC, and then I'll have two PC's to work and render from. I just have to wait until my actual job figures out what's going on. Corporate is reorganizing jobs and I may or may not have a job, so I've been holding off on buying something until I know that my actual income is secure.

alright so after playing it the Harem tag might need to be dropped since its going more the way of a dating sim.

if it was to go Harem route another day would probably need to be added between the party/date choice and meeting up with dad. after that the Claudina bar date could happen right after the Jeni date. but yeah for me this update seems to solidify it as a dating sim game.

but yeah at this point i have to ask if this game is in fact a harem game or not? if its not thats ok i just dont wanna get invested in the story if its not.

also i think you should put the characters thoughts in parenthesis or something cause it kinda throws the dialogue off when you dont know when they're thinking something and when they're speaking out loud.

lastly someone mentioned describing a sex scene. i'll be honest i can go either way. for me if the scene was animated it would work just with that. but as it is i could go either way.

Yeah branching paths and meaningful choices have their advantages and disadvantages. They are much harder to code, one main reason there are so many harem games, on the other hand branches can add replayability. That last only really if the branches differ enough and are not for 95% same except for a few sex scenes. Then a player is better off if can see those in a gallery, the amount of extra work involved in that for rendering and writing is too much for most single devs though. Maybe when the 3090 is widely available finally for intended price that may change a bit.

For most devs I would warn against too much early branching paths and locking scenes behind branches since it will make content seem overly sparse unless as a player you play all paths in a wip or dev is able to render insane amounts of content.

Once I get my second PC, it'll make things easier for me, but that is the end goal. This update was huge for what I've done before. 500 or so renders, which is almost double my previous updates. Later, I'll have another box to just render to constantly and one to set things up on, and it'll make my life so much easier.

Well, this update was a letdown. First you're being forced to go A or B, then the dates themselves are anticlimatic. Jen date has nothing, while the Claudia one ends with a BJ.

Yea, MC hasn't gotten his dick wet yet. Soon though. I don't want it to happen so fast that it feels shoe-horned in.

As the MC is a PI, I would love it if we also could solve some crimes.

He starts his first job during the next update, considering he just got his application for license in during this update.

If there are multiple routes for the various girls, it would be nice if the dev could include the ability to name the saves.

I normally agree, but this one set's up the story well enough to where incest doesn't feel necessary compared to the creators who change the characters to "the landlady" and "roommates" .

This. Especially with how fast we got on with Claudia and with Sasha already having feelings. You could argue that this could be the same with an incest game but on the other hand it feels more natural and without the needless "is this morally right" stuff getting in the way.
