Hi, i found the bug ... it's because you set the version in the game name.
So i replaced all occurence of "Unfinished_Business_0.5.0" by the name of my previous game "Unfinished_Business_0.4.5" and i was able to reload my saves.
But if you want player be able to play new version without restarting each play from scratch, consider using "Unfinished_Business" for next release for releases +2 or keep "Unfinished_Business_0.5.0" indefinitelly.
While some skinner boxes are more open about it than others (Rim World vs Total War vs Skyrim vs a gacha game), every game is essentially a skinner box. While I agree that being in your face about it (a gacha game or Skyrims "radiant" quests) is terrible design, there's always a good place for it. Otherwise you'll be satisfied with where you are at with no reason to progressIf your idea of good design is skinner box timewasting I suppose you play a lot of gacha games.
Having lead up to events is fine; having them be completely random and hugely time consuming is a mugs game
I plan on keeping it separateReally hope that advancing James storyline will never be a requirement to what's happening with Sara.
Hi, could you explain how you did that. I've tried renaming the HTML file but that doesn't seem to work for me, unless I'm missing something. Thanks.Hi, i found the bug ... it's because you set the version in the game name.

EDIT: After some time clicking around. Certain events didn't seam to trigger. So the solution below might not work.Hi, could you explain how you did that. I've tried renaming the HTML file but that doesn't seem to work for me, unless I'm missing something. Thanks.
Embedding the version number in the game's code is horrible programming practice. Forcing players to start over at each new version update simply because the developer has chosen to do this, or is too lazy to be bothered to fix it after he's been made aware of the problem (as this dev has been) is exceedingly hostile to the players he is hoping will support him on Patreon. And again, 0.5.2 is unable to recognize my save from 0.5.0 for the same reason. Editing the version number in the name in the HTML worked, again, but it's not really a tenable situation long term. Can't expect every player to either start over each version or begin editing the files themselves.
