How close is this game to being completed?

No one knows. If you scale it on base of the Vlad investigation part we might have reached 40% of the story. But to be honest, I'm thinking Dreamnow doesn't really have a story planned. Just some main points and goes with the flow. There are some plot holes and (too) unrealistic moments where I can't believe this would be planned. I like this game anyway from that. It's easygoing, nice graphics, not really depth, but with enough story not to be pointless. There are too much AVN where the whole world is acting like Bonobos. MC is clearly simple minded when it comes to sex but as I said it's bearable in a nice way.

So far the MC is a nice guy, polite and reserved. You can focus on one, or you can have a few. Some paths conflict so you can't have everyone.

Wish he was better written though, he sounds like a fedora-tipping whiteknight douchebag... u_u

But then again, that's THE flaw of the game... and oh so many more =(

One thing you're right about is that DreamNow himself can give only approximate percentage. So after 1.1.5 UoP must have reached its 50% done, and now we're definitely halfway to the end.

Furthermore, it seems that another 50% are expected to be even bigger, longer and dramatic, since the deal of content's changed to increase with the last few updates. More to come...

The whole thing with Vlad's group is only causing trouble. You see it with Kim and you'll see it with the porn studio. Sasha intervenes at the Mafia path. I don't think the Vlad plot is leading in something good.

I think you are sadly both expecting too much from this game.At the moment it seems like it is a generic harem/manwhore game where the main focus is to catch women like pokemon and build some tripples and trouples like playing quartet than let mc fuck as many women as possible. I agree there are interesting cheracters compared to other generic harem games for example the sororitie,max,abby,school leader and sasha there is a lot of drama potential to make the story interesting but I dont think we will ever see anything at the moment if you fuck up it seems like the route is just closed without any/much consequences and I am sure the problems with sororitie,max,abby and school leader will solve themself dosent matter what choices you make.

there would be much potential especially sasha and abby working together I am sure all the harem players dont play femdom route anyway and the beta bois would probably not mind getting fucked in the ass with carol but yeah I hope this game live up to his name university of problems and give us more drama with abby and carol which are both one of the most interesting cheracters at the moment, carol is not that interesting by herself even if she is sweet and caring person with nice cuddel scens her interaction with abby and the conflict/drama potential with abby,max and her sororitie sisters and corruption potential make it very interesting so I hope for a actually engaging story with twist and drama and a good representation of male and female cheracters but I dont think we will get that

Intertwined is doing it well, so far, you can be a manwhore and really screw things up! Become a Rock Star "kind of " did it. You can lose 3 LIs in one epic scene at the hospital (including MC getting kicked in the nuts!!). But MC can STILL come out with a hot LI or a throuple.

Yeah, Nyx is also a woman btw and has those sensibilites... looks to me you haven't even played Intertwined, tbh... but oh well... whatever floats your boat.

I found the game lacking when I played single route. It becomes very empty. Unlike Being a DIK and College Kings, you lose content by not dating them all. The friendship routes are lacking. A bit surprising, since apparently the main idea for the game was single route.
I haven't played it in a few months because of that.

I too found myself in the same situation. I didn't really expect this game to stab you in the back like that, but luckily everything can be solved without having to succumb to the total madness of replaying everything all over again:

Load the save just before encountering Ashley, open the console, then type the following:

freeroam4_ivysex=1

Watch the good path scene, then restore the original value (to prevent problems):

freeroam4_ivysex=2

Thanks, to me it looks like it only checks the variable before the scene starts, and changing back to 2 after, does not change anything in the outcome. (Tried with both single and treesome path)

People are different. Obviously I would also prefer to get all scenes and not miss any content in a single playthrough. But at the same time I also want my choices to matter and have consequences and have multiple dynamic paths. Obviously you can't have a well written game do both.

So it's a tradeoff, I absolutely love games like Our Red String, Intertwined etc. where choices do matter, I am not playing them for the art, if I like the story and writing enough, the art automatically grows on you.

I also like games like this, where for majority of the game nothing really matters and you just bang everyone and collect scenes like pokemon cards. For games like this, art and visuals matter a lot, I am not going to play a game like this unless the visuals are stunning. Which, in this case they are. Although I do have some complaints about model diversity on this one.

Important
Development is going well overall. In the second half of March, I spent some time on my health issues again (just like a year ago). Fortunately, as it turned out, it didn't have a big impact on the next update's progress.
However, in April I still have a number of issues related to my health to deal with and I really hope this doesn't take up too much of my time either.
Currently, about 60-65% of the planned scope of work has been completed.
The roughly scheduled release date for version 1.2.0 is the second half of April.

1) Events:

• 1 event with Rachel (2 versions) -- 100% complete
• 1 big event with Roxy -- 100% complete
• 1 event with Lexi -- 100% complete
• 1 event with Natalie (Natalie/Mallory) -- 40% complete
• 1 event with Yuki -- 20% complete
• 1 additional event with Nikki -- 100% complete
• 1 additional event with Ashley -- 10% complete

This is most likely the final set of events.
If I have time left, I'll add some dialogue with Sara and Carol so that they don't seem lost.
2) Renders and animations:
700 renders and 8 animations are ready -- Roughly planned: 1000-1200 renders and 8-10 animations
3) Other things:

• some bug fixes
• some code optimization (hopefully this will make the translators' work easier in the future)

SanchoMod Maintenance Update (Non-Critical)

Changlelog:

• HotKey "S" Toggle: Found in SanchoCheats (it looked out of place in SanchoOptions where it really needs to be), works in real-time while in-game with no restart required. Toggle allows the HotKey to set to either the default "S" or the alternative "T". While in the "T" variant the user can take RenPy screenshots with the individual "S" key as well as the other multi-key assignments. This feature toggle is saved on a per-save file basis (it will always default to "S" when starting a new game so will have to be set to "T" each new game if that's the preference of the Player. When loading a save where it was previously set to "T" then it will be loaded as such). Will be implemented in all future SanchoMod releases for all VN's going forward as a standard feature.
• 
• CriticalPath Popup Screen: Found in SanchoCheats and currently works during the U20 Ashley event if the Player packed Ivy's fudge, otherwise the screen does not populate (there's no need). It's fully toggle enabled independently from the ChoiceGuide since it's technically a cheat. The info it provides and the choices it populates are all fully dynamic (they automatically change) dependent on the Player's previous choices of the current playthrough. Fully compatible with the alt-character renaming feature (specifically Sara in this particular case).

Simply download and reinstall over existing mod installation, overwriting as requested if necessary.
