So no response to the months and months on end of no update while blatantly milking your patrons for money without every providing anything? Not surprised tbh, but it's still pathetic.
Well. It's quite simple for me. I pay into dev work when it is engaged. I drop it when it is not. For example, I still support three that have long periods between updates and will continue to support them because they stay engaged and they have a good story line. It can take a single dev months to get something out when they have a demanding day job, or less than stellar health. It only takes a minute to let us know they are still engaged. If they can't find that minute, then they are most likely not finding any time to work on the project either. For me, that situation ends in support cancelled, no dialogue needed, so I could care less if they want to ignore me. I thought about supporting this one at first, but thanks to the sour attitude of the dev when questioned, and a lack of engagement, I moved on to a working project. I gave it one more look to see if it has moved, but apparently it has not so I'm writing it off as abandoned and will move on to an active project. To date, I've cancelled four in the last five years but supported ten times as many so the ratio is actually quite good. Of the four that I cancelled, one completed the project and was just pumping out wallpaper. After three months of no indication another project was going to start, I dropped it. The two he did complete while I was engaged were not bad and I enjoyed both. If he does start another one, I will most likely pick him back up. I'm one of those that wants a story line that will capture my interest, not a bunch of bald fap material. I can chase real porn if that's all I want. The adult content is a plus, but the story is a must.

That's fair. I'm not going to put you on ignore for simply saying you don't like me or the game. If me engaging with F95zone is a requirement, however, then I'm sorry but I'm not going to be engaging with a place where people call me scum and question whether I've lied about my mother dying and the mods don't care and even engage in it. You can always find me pretty active and receptive on Discord.
I've no doubt I'm on ignore, but this post again shows the complete contempt for the people on this site. Yes, we are pirates but a lot of people on here do support via Patreon etc - I know I do (and did at one point for Carbons).
He is a proven liar and if he just had a little bit of humility and honesty, might have been able to rescue his reputation. But very few people are going to give a shit about a milker dev who can't even acknowledge how they have treated this community and their own Patreons. I don't even understand why he is posting here - you would have to be monumentally stupid to support him and as a few have said, there are so many better games to engage with and support.
I'm here because it takes me a couple of mins a day to post and remind everyone about the status, so no one inadvertently thinks this VN is still being developed.
Maybe there would be a bit of empathy if Carbon didn't treat people like they were morons? Who knows.

An update that was finished enough to be released in 2 weeks is still getting worked on after 15 months
Is this game the next offcuts in making. That game dev is still waiting to push that 0.4 update that was finished 4-5 years ago.

Dude , i'd know what you're going through , it's hard to lose someone that is very close and dear to you, specially if you don't have a partner to help you carry the burden and the sadness .
if people is personally attacking you , ban their asses because you don't need to put up with any ones crap !.
my only recommendation is that you need to be loud and clear on you message about the real status of the AVN and how you'll handle the updates going forward because the snail pace and few of the excuses started to wearing thing even on discord before i stopped supporting because my threshold is 40 bucks for avns and 50 on video games.
take what i'd just said as constructive criticism !.
