So, update time!

Kimberly is getting done tonight. Tonight, damn it!
Oh, and super-duper-awesome-secret-thing is half done. It’s more fun than redoing the Kim stuff... but damn it brain, I said TONIGHT!

Okay.

Okay, okay okay. Okay.
Okay.

Kimberly is... done?
I think.
TC scene included, and morning-after TC scene.
Haven't tested it; probably going to break; nothing done for after you do it.
Park scenes are still in the game too, so... don't use them, because they will break things very badly.

Uploading tonight so you can tell me how badly you broke things.
Should be fun!

Also, super-secret-special-sauce event isn't entirely done yet, but if you have RPGMaker VX Ace, and/or root around a bit, you can *probably* guess what it is.

DO NOT PLAYTEST IT - you can't do it in the normal game anyway (yet), but seriously? Please? Pretty-pretty-super-secret-special-sauce PLEASE do not spoil this for anybody else.

Upload to come.

Hey I was playing in version 0.9.1 and ran into something odd. I entered Lisa's house (according to my rooting around) and tried to go upstairs. It put me at grandma's house.

On a slightly related note, fixing that and saving in RPG Maker (I'm using VX Ace) causes the game to become super messed up and i was wondering if you know anything about it. It gets upscaled from the center of the window making the game more or less very difficult to play. I've been wanting to mess with the game, but don't know how to fix this issue.

Play at park a few times
Visit house, first home BJ
Visit park, open Cafe, first work BJ
Work BJ x2 more
First work sex
Work sex x2 more
Go to cafe, end up at Kim’s, sex, TC
Kim openly available throughout the day/night
(with option to stay the night if Mom is TC’d)

Uploading tonight so you can tell me how badly you broke things.
Should be fun!

Uploading tonight

CaptainObnoxiousPorn Lisa's house isn't done yet, so chances are her house is pretty buggy. Sorry about that, but I just copy/pasted her map from Nergal's version, and we have different map numbers, so shit gets messed up.

In regards to the "zoom in" problem - I assume you're trying to open the game from RMVXA through Steam - so here's how you go about fixing that (there is also an Instructions.txt file in the base folder that says this all):

  1. Find your RPG Maker VX Ace folder
  2. Look for the System folder
  3. Copy the RGSS300.dll file to another place - DO NOT DELETE THIS
  4. Unzip the RGSS301.rar file in the System folder of UDXM, place the file
    where your old file was.
Everything should work properly; RGSS301 changes the aspect ratio for the
game and RGSS300 keeps it at 800x600.

If you want to keep the new resolution forever (instead of having to keep replacing the old RGSS), simply copy/paste the RGSS301 into your RMVXA "base game" folder - the one you can find through Steam by right-clicking the game and selecting "browse local files" - which will overwrite the RGSS300 that's currently mucking everything up.

Holy fuck, did not expect the update to be rolled out so quickly!
You, sir, are awesome! Keep up the good work, but do take breaks!

Yeah, so here's what I'm confused about, RGSS300.dll doesn't exist anywhere. There is no System folder in the RPG Maker VX Ace Folder. In the folder there's a RGSS301.dll already and I don't know if that's different. Should I back that up and replace it? There's also the rtp folder inside of the folder, but it has no system folder. Idk if it's helpful or necessary, but here's a picture of what the folder contains.

Just replace the RGSS that’s already there with the one from the mod. Save / copy the old one, and replace it if you ever want the 800x600 size again.

It's in there, you just can't get there without having RPG Maker. There's nothing actually in there yet, mind you.

Also?

This did it. Thanks so much. I'm gonna spend some time messing around and learning how to use RPGM better.

I think this has been said before, but wouldn't it save so much more time and bandwidth if you just:
  • Archive only the "Data" base folder, which is roughly 15 MB in size
  • If needed, also archive new and only the new graphics files in "Graphics" folder
?
The "Graphics" folder makes up about 75% of the whole size of the downloadable archive (1.7 GB roughly), which is mostly always the same image files. So unless to use new images since the last version, uploading the images again shouldn't be necessary.

So basically, if there's a glaring error in 0.9.2, you can make a quick fix and only upload the "MapXXX.rvdata2" file. Should be easy to sort files by "Date modified" in Windows and probably on Linux as well.

Edit after only 5 seconds: 25% of 0.9.1 size is the "IN PROGRESS" folder apparently... Also, not exactly needed, if only just to tease us, you monster

Playing through the latest version, it seems that your name just gets set to Eric at some point. I can't quite figure out what causes it. As far as I can tell it happens after leaving school on the first day.

Oh shit! I found it. There's an event that is set to autorun in the west park. It sets a lot of variables (presumably for testing) including changing the name to Eric and giving you an extra phone.
