This is exactly why I've been saying we should wait and take our time with this.
Once the 0.8 public release is out with maybe some more official patches/updates then we can start coming together, see who, what, where, why and how. Which will lead into everyone knowing how to continue.
And yes, of course I love everyone's enthusiasm! But I also think we're getting ahead of ourselves and need to take a second to see what is what.
I could be wrong but I'm just scared that if we rush into this that we'll make a huge mistake.

patreons are for personal projects, we might just crow fund the money to pay glass. i wouldn't want to make people pay for more than they're getting. i wouldn't feel right taking people's money

Even nergal kept an idea list but we should if any foucs on the main story for now. Maybe wait for the public release to see what might may or may not be added but as long it's only pitching ideas and brain storming on the side it shouldn't hurt

Why add them? I know that Neghal had them as archetypes and gave them a bit of story as to corruption, but the first question I'd have to ask is "Why?"

Reason being, they have to then go through the process of corruption and being a part of the harem. Then you have to deal with connecting them to the other characters. And if you can get the same thing with another character, what was the point?

This is merely a distraction from the story overall UNLESS you have it that the women become important to the plot in some way unknown. As this is merely the beginning stages, it's fine to ask such questions, but you really have to think about the process of each addition and the strains it'll put on people to make.

There are ideas floating around about adding things, and in what way to implement things. But nothing is set in stone yet, and nothing major is happening until after 0.8 public.

But you're right, adding "unnecessary" content is something that can be done later or besides the story line. Believe it or not, but I DO play porn games for the plot!
(That's why I really like The Last Sovereign, because it has the sex and erotic stuff of a porn game but has the plot and world building of a massive RPG. And it's just a real interesting story about an interesting world!)

I don't think it's possible right now, without using the teleport cheat room included in fan patch in the OP here. I think it's triggered by not doing homework and then saying no in detention, while also having both Mrs. J and the Mom progressed fully (or at least a lot). But as you experience, the sex ed class now occurs every day, preventing you from getting homework assigned. I don't think the sex ed class is supposed to occur every day.

I think you guys are getting ahead of yourselfs,I think the enthusiasm is good but it's not as easy as it sounds,you need to be able to handle money and not steal it like wootch,have people who can work with out quitting mid project since the work load does wear you down,also smurfy has school,kinner says he eventually looses interest in modding a certain game and moves on,you also need writers, the list just goes on I'm not saying it's impossible but I think you guys should wait for the public version work on it adding custom events etc see how people work and then go from there to take a decision if you guys want to take over the game,also following nergals trello would help you guys do continue,cause one thing I know if you try to put something people don't like they will start attacking you just look at including Fred Nergal tried to push it on people ,but people said no no started a war on his patreon,which later turn out to be like 70% don't want him in,so be very careful if you guys do include stuff to the game that was not traditionally planned or liked for the game.

At this point, all people are doing is planning the game. There's an entire process of stuff that has to be done BEFORE you even get the game off the ground!

Geez... Nergal took a few months to work on UD before it was even put into 0.1 beta! Calm down... No one's even stepped up to take over yet.

I mean if you really wanna do it, it'd require building a relationship with quite a few people. Glassfish isn't the only artist but was the most consistent for this project. Then there's the story itself. What everyone faltered on (all three people) was getting out of Act 1 of this 3 Act play.

Then the community tore itself apart about needing more sex and more art instead of realizing the story didn't get anywhere.

If it's a community project, that requires people to build up all three structures: Beginning, Middle, End. And where did you see that with anyone? How do you get the girls to the endpoint and resolve the plot? Did anyone think about that or just how to corrupt Amos?

As stated, the list goes on and there's a lot of questions and plot twists to consider. But talking about money changing hands and how to deal with a bunch of sex crazed NEETs online isn't the deepest thing at this stage.

It's taking a month or two to create viability of the story to get through all three stages and make coherent sense as you move all characters forward. That's my view though.

The main story is actually what i want to map out first but i'm just create possible maps for places that need to exist. I also kinda of a idea for a spoof. You know the old man that use to be at the park 24/7? He was in the hospital in the beginning of the game. What if he was stalking peter because he an enemy faction of those who survive fatal accidents as well and have demonic powers. This would be an excuse to make him appear almost every where rasing his creepy factor to a all time high. On a side note, Personally if i ran the project i wouldn't implement new sex scenes until i am sure i have all the idea i would love to implement almost done. Right now i think the best option is to write down multiple possible routes for where the story to go and developing a general structure. Than we can start adding scene along the way as long as we focus on the goal. Another idea i have is having your character needing to corrupt Ms.Taylor in order to save Jennings' job after the 10 heart scene. We can have a male substitute teacher take her place to have school go on as normal. If fired jennings will still be able to babysit and you can still go to her house for fun(anywhere expect school) but have a negtive effect on the ending of the game. I'm also think that the ending should have pure or corrupt routes but the 10 heart route would probably end on the same spot if not because all the dialogue of scene are the same regardless of corrupt or pure in 10 heart. But have a few factors that can change it(like getting jennings fired)

To all who are editing files and creating maps, make a copy of your system folder because every time you save on rpg maker vx ace, the scaling brakes. To reslove this issuse simply copy the files from your back up system folder to make game window normal

I'm having an issue with the room in otherworld after the boulder puzzle, after i failed the first time, every time i enter the room the flames are blocking all the paths and dont move, everytime i touch one of them it kicks me out of otherworld, so its basically unfinishable.

You gotta learn to reset step technique. Walk until the spot you mess up and when on top walk back the other way. Keep doing this until you beat the puzzle

To be fair, Seeing as Neala was supposed to be a playable character as well, Fred was supposed to be her main fuck buddy besides Peter (the MC).
So Fred would've been a bigger part of the game at some point anyway, and if I get a say in where the community mod version of the game is going he will be, probably still smaller than Wootch and Nergal would've wanted, but still a little more than apparently most of the players want... :evilsmile:

Stories are easy. Coming up with stories is what I've done since I was a child, of course this is different because it's someone else's story that we're trying to finish in a style closer to them than ourselves but should still be doable.
And the beautiful thing about this game is that for the "overarching plot" none of these characters except for Peter, Neala, Meridiana and Dominus are actually important.
The story is all about Meridiana tricking(?) Peter and Neala into making it possible for her to return.
Peter does this by slowly gathering corruption while Neala is strong enough to stop any who would oppose Meridiana's return.
Peter helps because he's a horny little bastard, Neala helps because of her deal with Merdiana.
Dominus is clearly gathering something in the Otherworld and is probably intended to be someone who goes against Meridiana or he may be just like Peter and Neala, a human in the Otherworld who has gained powers and has been using and strengthening his powers for a lot longer than Peter and Neala as he seems to be able to command higher level Demons (the two three-headed dogs. Cerberuses?).

What I'm saying is that finishing the "plot" of the game is probably the easiest part of the whole project. It's everything that comes between, that will probably give us the most trouble.

The story might be easy, but it's the hardest to get right. As we see, the premise has a LOT of things that can curve it. It has to change with regards to purity versus corruption, and it also has to change due to how you interact with the women. You also want to explain the demons because if anything, that's the ultimate goal that I don't think either game addressed. WTF is this about? What's the overall reason for giving a horny kid and a revenge driven teen some powers?

And if they're the only ones, why? Do you blame this on a cult? The gods gathering power over decades ala Fullmetal Alchemist? Or do you just go with the kid being a sacrifice near the end and his corruptometer is what makes him a new god?

The story can go a number of ways. And I see a lot of viable options until you get the "One True Ending" that resolves everything.

Still, so long as the meat and potatoes are there, I'm sure plenty of people can add some seasoning and veggies to make this a new form of VH if necessary.
