Yeah the amount of dick-riding and glazing for Meshed like he's some sort of god is really cringe, these people are almost as bad as haters lol... The beta1 (imo alpha) for VAM was really disappointing for the length of development. On a happier note, I'm really impressed by how VR Hot looks. I willl check it out later, it's been a while since I last tested it. It's buggy still from what people say, but look at this:You must be registered to see the links
And VR Hot did this with a third of the funding of vamx on patreon. Not VAM, not a typo. A third (or half) of the budget of VAMX. And a tiny fraction of vam's funding. It has the "nextgen" genesis8 models of vam2 already. Clothes, hair, physics, models look better, more realistic than VAM's. He even did AI himself.
The only thing it doesn't have it's vam's modders. Period.
Those defending 5 years for this trash beta, you're in denial. What's the excuse? It's not technical. What "artist" you're talking about? It's a model poser with physics, a very clear task. Recreate vam1, but make it better performance. He did VAM1 in less time, as a hobby project. It should be faster now. Look at VR Hot, he's doing the VAM base components around the same quality or better, and for a fraction of the funding. Idk about VRHot's UX & UI, last time I checked it wasn't great but that's more about design. VAM's UI isn't great neither, but it's stable at least (with 0 game mechanics tho).
I agree with others, meshedvr could've and should've hired some other dev or devs if he lost interest to code. But he doesn't do that because he'll be milking it until he retires probably. Or until somebody else takes the modders away.
It almost reminds me of the cope or praise people would post on specific stock forums or cryptocoins glazing the developers or board only to lose everything XD.
