....why remove NTR? It adds flavor to the game. There are gangsters and enemies(sort of). I dont get it

Oe just make NTR avoidable based on the path or choices the users pick. There are lots of non NTR game out there go there instead if u dont like ntr. Almost 70% game posted here is non NTR anyway

I don't really care if this game has NTR or not, but that's not the reason people didn't come to his patreon(see the tyrant, spellbook and many other games with NTR), people didn't go there because the dev couldn't even tell them what his own game was about.
He flipped from rape everybody, to rape to nobody, to not having NTR to removing said none existent NTR. People just didn't know what they were supporting.

He already said his game is not based on NTR elements even as optional. He said this game is primarily made for Vanilla Lovers. Yes, the threat is there, but it won't result in MC loosing girls. The overview kind of given wrong expectations, i agree. But, dev said it's not his intention at all in the first place.

The story can be still interesting if girls are raped before the game starts, and after MC is introduced into the game, he will get angry and go get revenge. NTR villains are already "done" their job. They will not be interested in fucking the girls they already raped. And it's MC's time to get revenge. (Just my creative concept).
But anyway, The title is changed now, it's vengeance for "lust". So, no problems of coherency or any need for NTR villains.

But still, i'm concerned about how this game runs. He removed NTR but after some comments by NTR fans in patreon to make it optional, he said he'll think of adding NTR again in future updates as optional. WTF man? Adding, removing, adding, removing.. What's all this?
How it is "vengeance" when the rape didn't happen yet? What's for? Game name should be "Save Girls" or something lol if MC's work is to save the girls.

The games you have mentioned specifically have avoidable NTR, can you name one game that has unavoidable NTR that has over 1000 patrons? I can't think of one. You right though, another reason was the rape content. A few years ago developers tried to avoid the rape tag like the plague. Now it is more commonplace, but it severely limits a game's earning capacity. See Avalon, Retrieving the Past, Alison Fall of the Apple, Long Road Home, etc.

I'd wager the reason he had one Patron was that he didn't seem to know wtf game he is making, not any specific fetish. Went through most of the pages on this thread and I still have no clue what this game is about with all the backtracking.

But damming devs for wanting to explore those types of stories? I'm sorry, but why do you care? you could just as easily put the game on ignore and search for something lighter. You can put your money were your mouth is, there is not reason to also shit talk the devs.
The dev of this game didn't have a solid enough foot hold on what he wanted, and cave in to the waves of "criticism" people gave about the potential content rather then wait and see what it is.

I did read the thread, read my other post. The dev couldn't tell wth he wanted, but people gave him shit because there was a potential rape and then not, at one point he said there is no NTR in the game but then in the "update" he remove the none existent NTR.
But all of that doesn't change the main point of what I said, people didn't know what the game was about and still gave such "constrictive criticism" on something they could have just easily waited to see what it will be. If this game was going to be purely vanilla I would've enjoyed as much as if it had rape elements.
For me it's pretty simple, if I see a tag I don't like I search the thread(like I did this one) and if I see it's the main or lack of focus like this one(Incest is not my thing for example) then I either put it on ignore or wait to see how it turn out.

Sure, it's more on the dev for not holding his ground(or being somewhat vague/flipy flopy) but there is such thing as peer pressure and it could be very scary when you try to gather support. Any devs who try to talk to people in these threads could easily lose their vision or sometimes find better ideas for their games. Horny people are scary
I saw a lot of people give their stories why certain elements shouldn't be there, rather then simply walking away(seeing as rape element were in the overview at first). But this thread was weird in general, as the dev didn't want to spoil his story(which is not a bad thing) but at the same time giving very vague stuff about it's darker elements to then I guess removing them at this point? I'm still curious to see what the game is about, but all of this just feels weird.
I don't have to put the game literally on ignore(unless I find my self forgetting and coming back because I liked the renders/art
) I mostly make a mental note that a game is not for me.
