You have great timing. I saw this today on steam and was wondering if the f95 thread had updated since May.
They removed that in this update. It's one of the many problems they have managed to introduce into the game. The inability to eat combined with all the RNG traps is baffling.
I spent the day playing through the game and there is less content in this beta than the previous update. Most of the old sex scenes have been removed because the new ones are not implemented or finished yet. I would be surprised if we saw any big update before the summer, as going by the feedback on the Discord, they're going to have to redo the whole combat and dungeon system again.
Don't waste your time with this for now.

So basically, there's still nothing new, but they want a total dungeon exploration overhaul (including 70+ new cards, allegedly), new art, and new dating mechanics, on top of a new dungeon, new enemies, new sex scenes and that's their goal for 2021. They want to redo 3+ years of work while making new content with a monthly budget of 2000 USD.
Man, I wish I had that kind of optimism.
On the Steam page for the beta, they said they have added all new dating and sex scenes, but some have not been implemented yet. However, I played the game through (which was a horrible experience with the new dungeon system) and got no new scenes at all (apart from one scene where you see Amazon girl naked) and didn't have the option to do most of the old ones apart from the one with the clerk girl which has been in the game for years. Maybe the new scenes will be added soon. They spent the last half year or so "revamping" the combat and dungeon system, but it just seems to have been a waste.

As a huge fan of roguelikes/roguelites and card battle mechanics, I felt like the game sincerely wanted to do the genres right, but completely missed the point the first time around. To summarize my feelings:
Fights were too long and repetitive, risk and reward was unbalanced, and all these shitty little policies that got in the way of grinding. Why do I have an on-bard doctor I can't afford to use when it matters? Why can I only hire a handful of adventurers when I have an entire brothel on my ship? Why the hell is the well-being of my crew tied to the romance system? These assholes are barely bringing back enough gold to buy lunch and most of y'all want to take advantage of them. I wanted to say "Begone, thot" and throw their asses overboard!
And now you're saying that it's even worse and there's not even incentive right now to try it. That's pretty disappointing news. Thanks for taking one for the team.

Always nice to come back to a game after a year, hoping there's been good progress and you can enjoy a ton of new content.
Reality : They are either cancelled, made almost no progress or they decided to remake the entire thing and are back at square 1 when it took them a few years to even get a technical alpha up and running.

I generally don't get invested in the development of porn games at all, but this one has great art. It's very rare to see a 2D porn game with art as good as this one. It's just a shame it's stuck behind a broken and frustrating gameplay system. I've been following this on and off for the last two years or so and nothing much has been added to the game in that time from what I can see. It was looking like this would be the update that finally changed things, but for now it hasn't.
I was wondering why i couldnt eat in the dungeons. jesus combined with the rng that makes them practically unplayable

While they're redoing the art, I really hope eventually redo the male sprites. I forgotten how much they bothered me. The shoulders look dislocated and their thighs alone are nearly as wide as the shoulder span of the female/futa sprites.

As they said most of the new dating scenes haven't been implemented yet, and I didn't see anything new in my playthrough. Who knows when it will be implemented. They posted a new beta build update on Steam today that seems to fix some of the dungeon stuff, but I'm not going to play through it again until the new scenes are in.
