What would you like me to add to the game in the next update?

  • The connection (police) mechanic. This would be a new "currency" and a new batch of upgrades.

  • More events and the possiblity for the packmakers to add some in their packs.

  • The possbility to train the skills of the girls

  • Progress the story and add story missions (mostly focused on Nicole)

  • Something else (tell me either by PM or in this thread).

In the latest test version, you can get around the limit of one broker action per turn, by:
  • Save your game.
  • Exit the game.
  • Restart the game, and load from the save.
  • Bob's your uncle! The broker forgets that you already took an action with them this turn.
Yeah, right now, broker doesn't save if you've used them or not this day. Wasn't a high priority fix for me because that was a lot of rep at the time.

Gives me an opportunity to revisit something though with the Brokers though.

So Brokers should now check to see if you have someone with 3 days left on their contract, which means you've hired someone that day, rather than simply using a static boolean. On top of this, I want Brokers to 'play nicer' with CJ, so if you're not using Brokers constantly, their prices should get a bit cheaper.

Will do a test tonight to see if this is viable, and if so, the new patch might be ready for prime time. Mostly the balance tweaks discussed earlier, but there's a few things I want to make sure are where I want them.

I love that this brothel manager doesn't have the usual obedience mechanic, but instead uses this openness system.

Alright. What's in the new patch.

Continued QoL, as one does.

Visibility adjustments. Booths now highlight when they need your attention, whether it's to add a girl, or decide a finisher.

The Favorite Finisher mechanic has been highlighted. Now, the favored finisher of a client will be highlighted in green, and the rewards for doing so made more visible. As well, they've been adjusted to be more impactful: A burst of happiness, and the possibility of a winfall of cash.

Brokers will now offer cheaper prices to entice girls to use them, if you're not using them every turn.

A new Investment Ultimate, which gives you bonus cash if you cap a client's happiness. This synergizes very well with Fav Finishers, as well as with Over Achievers and Hustle Queens.

Tobe's moved on from the game, and is working on other things now. He left the source code up for grabs. I grabs.

Since then, I've been adding in new mechanics and content here and there to give the game further replayability. A basic summary:
  1. Scramble Mode.
  2. The 'police' resource has been reworked into a politician resource (Connection), which can now be used in various ways.
  3. Club upgrades have had their prices altered to include Influence and Connection based on where you are in the game.
  4. Other rebalancing changes across the board, costs of crime services, the negotiator use, etc. Too many to list.
  5. Scramble Mode.
  6. Girls can now develop special traits which change how they interact with the game. One girl might have the ability to alter the sex work a client wants. Another might take tasks long before other girls. There's about 25ish different traits in the game, randomly generated for each girl.
  7. While Nicole's story has not been added to, the ability to unlock sex acts to Group, and Finishers, is now enabled.
  8. Scramble Mode.
  9. Girls can take classes in exchange for energy.
  10. A new reputation dump, the Brokers, has been added in so that reputation that is capped at 100 can be traded in for assorted rewards.
  11. A quest system has been added where Investors have taken interest in your club. In exchange for fulfilling quests they assign, and then working a booth with them in it, they will give your club assorted permanent upgrades. This can open up new strategies and ways to play the game.
  12. SCRAMBLE MODE. It randomizes girls costs and stats and makes sure every game is a bit different--it plays a lot more like a rogue-lite in this mode. It also means you never have to change the Description if you don't want to. And if you do, Classic Mode is right there as well.
  13. Crown Jewel Mode. This mode takes five of your girls, and sets them aside. If you can fulfill the ever growing, expensive costs to acquire them, you can eventually enable an endgame goal of getting the 5 best girls in the city as your club's features.
  14. Zoom 2.0, allowing you to switch booths in zoom mode, rewind the video, and even play unpaused without the zoom video getting in your way.
    ssorted screen layout changes based on logical flow of play, with feedback from the players taken into account.
  15. Scramble Mode.

The current pack accidentally has debug mode turned on... New patch incoming pretty soon, if I read Disgruntler's last note correctly.

Just be patient, all will be well.

Hey so i just downloaded the game but i do not see a folder named "girlpacks" do i need to create it myself? if so where should it be made?

Just hit the close button on the bottom. Most of those aren't actually 'bugs' per se, it's just you're getting a bit more visibility on the back end than usual. They're helpful to me when debugging and chasing problems, but for most people they seem more serious than they are.

If you do not have a folder named 'Girlpacks' you can either create one yourself, or you can go ahead and start the game without it, and it will do so for you. Either way, you'll want to make sure your girlpacks sit in the folder like this:

that's okay too, the extra stuff is cross-compatible with The Ultimate Strip Club, which uses the same core girlpack format as VC.

There are a couple girlpacks which don't work out of the box, if you manage to get one, we'll be MORE than happy to set you straight and help you fix it. The game will tell you. Many of the regulars here are girlpack creators and know those babies inside and out, and I try to answer questions as often and as best as I can.
