I thought this gonna be F.E.A.R or horror game but I laugh out after that intro opening phase. Welp i hope this one good. writing need to be strong

granted this was an issue from when I last played a few months back but for some reason after trying to date the maid in the pseudo-gallery my game crashed almost immediately after "let's date" and I laughed so hard at the timing I must've forgotten to report it. godspeed you beautiful bastard

Although hilarious- random crashes aren't intended as part of the experience. From what we've gathered the issue persists due to a memory leak in VXAce engine. As of now we're working on both- the content updates as well as a proper unity port. Porting the game to unity seems to be the only way to resolve this problem unfortunately.

Due to the way the script we're using works- unfortunately we won't be able to solve the issue. Basically, the way game determines what counts, and what doesn't count as a turn is fundamentally broken. It doesn't play nice with agility increases. We're very sorry.
On the bright side- because of this and many other technical difficulties, we've decided to move the entire game to a unity engine. That way we'll be able to do many things that weren't previously possible
(skill checks, more complex animations, better graphical effects), while keeping everything even closer to the original vision. The unity development won't affect current updates. 0.9 is still scheduled for the 21st of November.

yeah because most scenes are only availabe once and never to be seen again until you reset your progress or make a save designated for that scene

First of all, we’d like to start by thanking you for trying out Viastopia. It warms our hearts seeing people connect with what we’ve made so far.

As for the matter of monetization- we ask that you understand that despite the game being free, we’ve got to offer some sort of incentive for our patrons.
The development of Viastopia is actually pretty costly and time consuming. We’d love nothing more than to have enough funds to be able to finish the game and deliver it to you for free, but the reality of the situation is that sadly- we’re lacking in that department.

Regarding Projekt-14’s case- in the future we plan on adding a way to capture her and add to your harem, so at some point her scenes will become easily available even for free users.

On a positive note- in case someone decides to pirate our game and post the premium version on here, we vow not to take it down (it only makes sense, f95zone is a piracy forum after all).

We kindly ask for your understanding.

Don't know if you know the success rate of devs getting their games taken down on f95zone but it's not high. Even the illusion of thread control just gets passed on to a bot. Usually the only way I've seen it done was a dev insults a mod's mother or worse.

Thanks for the heads up, we're still trying to get the feel for how it all operates. Still, we 100% mean it.
