I loved Kobold Adventure, and was sad when it didn't continue. Still a ton of fun, though!
2. I haven't finished the general art (I was doing a bunch of them side by side as a reference pic, but it's on a pad of paper, rather than the tablet) but I was leaning with the same vibe of goblins being pretty similar.
The only noticable exceptions I was thinking of are more personal than anything else: Gobwife is unusually curvy and blessed compared to the norm (and the Unlucky and Team Boys PC's follow suit, because genetics and shortstack), also her eyes (and the players, probably Firsts as well) lack the typical feral yellow and red tints of the scelra (the part is typically the whites of the eyes). The ears are also more or less in one piece and not missing chunks or tatters.
Still undecided on pointy teeth being a feral/normal trait or not. Three digits, thumb, four toes. Toying with a few of the farm gobs to be decidedly more brown in tint and coloration, because Percy. Or should all gobs just be varying colors of green, or do we want a larger array of color? I think the art for First had her bluish or something, for example.
Talking about it is one thing, learning the way to draw the gobo is another altogether. But I always wanted to do it, so this gave me a perfect excuse.
3. Depends on the artist and the genre. Male gobs tend to be drawn as borderline horrific tiny rape beasts, which is a wild contrast to the cute feminine types. Not to say the player can't be the exception to the rule, obviously.
4. I'd offer, but the plate is pretty full atm with my feeble skills. Maybe if I get more comfortable with it. Though that *was* one of the reasons I was asking if she was a full on minotaur or looking more like Catyl, which is a large difference appearance wise.
5. Thats one of the reasons I was surprised and enthused by the idea of Foxxy using the Renamon art - it being so feral is a really striking appearance and manages to avoid being too similar to the other characters. I super dig Mariko and I'm undecided on Avee, but too many kitsune running about can run the risk of feeling samey.
I get that not everybody may be onboard for furry or anthropormorphic art, so yeah, that checks out. Still, raising the dragon was one of my favorite questlines in that thing. ...Actually their personality reminds me a bit of Nog, actually. Huh.
While there isn't nearly as much art of it out there, Trolls (WoW style or not) are a pretty striking contrast from gobos.
I'm assuming dwarves and halflings aren't in to keep the imps, kobolds and gobs unique for shortie duty?
6. Ah. That was me none too subtle asking if this male lead was potentially a trap, or if it was an alternative.
7. Kind of the same deal as Meat but... if you have a 'normal' version of the character in mind for art and have other bits of art you would like to see emulated for the futa action, I can probably give it an attempt at some point. Probably depends on how complicated it all ends up looking, my brain can't even wrap around the idea behind the occasional idea of Edi from Mass Effect. (Shame on you for not letting me date Tali as a gal, or both her and Garrus as a 3P, game. Or draining Wrex's quads. Shame.)
But my first wee project attempt is in the works, playing around with Unlucky origin art, gobwife, and such. I have some free time this upcoming week, so fingers crossed it all goes well.
8. Whoop, gonna spoiler this one.
9. Ah, gotcha. Not my thing, but I'm absolutely sure there is interest and demand in it. Not everybody enjoys playing a (slutty) goody goody.
10. How's your release looking? (Asked while distracting the Snekk yet again.)
