I am fine with some of the combat in this game since it had story purpose.
As for what I would like fixed
Not seeing spider sprites but seeing all other combat sprites seems a bit off, so having the first spider be right inside the door or unavoidable is fine, but yeah they should be seen like the rats, dogs, thugs.
If you personally use the Antidote, you should be cured, and give like a 5 min timer or immunity until you leave, switch needs to be able to be thrown if you used the antidote yourself.
Playing this on controller (xbox 360 controller) is kind of a chore since no buttons bring up the save area, journal, etc.
When you are told where something is on your map, a little text over the area after the red circle goes away would be nice.
Your character picks a "tourist map" but it shows a bunch of houses and stuff, tourist maps normally only highlight important places like celeb houses or landmarks.
Maybe speed up the fire a tiny bit, seems it takes longer than the other task.
Run every line of text through a text/grammar editor like microsoft word, grammarly, whitesmoke, etc.
Top right meter starts you with + 10 (good side?), but choice with thugs doesn't augment it at all.
Losing running speed when in non public places, like being inside an apartment full of rats and spiders trying to kill you. Walking just doesn't cut it.
Some items show in inventory even after use.
Fix collision boxes
What I like
The bits of humor, the ridiculous naivety of the MC to keep trusting anyone and not hate the city. The introductions of some characters.
I will see how it fleshes out over the next few versions.
