Unless we're talking games like Sengoku Rance, gameplay and combat are often a huge cock block to me in porn games, and turn me off pretty quickly. Look, I like JRPG's, I like turn-based battles, but random encounters are very tedious these days that even mainstream JRPG has abandoned them. And personally if I play a porn game, that means I want to fap. Making an rpg game with crap load of walking around and tedious quests and battles and gameplay padding and random encounters and fucking rng means no fap, which means it's become less of a porn game and more of a subpar generic rpgmaker game, I might as well pop in a real commercial PC/PS4 game at that point? Of course some might disagree, but I think porn games should really just stick to visual novel to allow better room for intimate story, characters and sex scenes.

I don't mind a bit of game play in my games. Fetch quests, fine. Puzzles, great. Hell, I can even stomach the occasional bit of combat (with the understanding that I will cheat the hell out of them).

But this is a bit rough. The snails pace of movement is probably the worst offender. The buggy Antidote/spider conundrum in the first room is painful. And the Engruss is a wee bit opaque.

Granted, its a 0.01a. A prologue and nothing more. There are hints of a plot around the periphery that could lead to something interesting but.... yeah, time will tell. Not worst, not that good.

(At least the random combat distracted from the uncanny valley render quality!)

My earlier post wasn't actually directed just to this game, but to all porn games with similar style in general. Now I know I may not be the target audience, so I was just throwing my 2c, and I know my opinion was shared by others here too. Dating my Daughter, The Gift: Reloaded, SolValley and Corruption are my gold standard personally.

Devs should not change what they want to do because some people don't like it, then they stop making the game they want to make and they lose the passion for that game.

It's fine to not like something but it's when people start acting like a game should be what they want it to be that pisses me off.

Well, I want to give the bloke a chance to be honest. It would seem stupid to crush a potential good dev before he gets started. I'll save the pitchfork for when he releases 2 updates in 2 months and then gives up because hes not magically a millionaire.

To be honest, you can easily see the lazy games, they're either over filled with porn, thinking thats all it needs (Look at that mess called bastard girls that literally has like 400 cg images, but makes no fucking sense, with maids trying to kill each other to fuck the protaganist appearing out of the blue, buttons obscured in the backgrounds because they're not highlighted at all, the game randomly switching languages if you click the wrong button at the wrong time (And you cant change the language from the menu... Which makes it more annoying that pressing a button you've clicked many times before to start conversations suddenly acts as a switch to change the language one way only)) or it adds random NTR thinking that "Oh. We need some kind of enemy.. So we'll add NTR to piss off the player! Thats how you write good enemies, you write an enemy that gets people angry!" ... NO! You write good antagonists by making them relatable yet still an obstracle because they're on the side that blocks you from your goals! Adding someone that pisses you off as an enemy is not a good enemy.. They're just anger inducing.

why peoples still make RPGM game ? (renpy is better in all way ... its eaasy to use, better for render, and totally free.. i guess they just too lazy to make "too much" render and prefer use vanilla assets.. tssk tssk )

Either program can use custom assets. Some people cant use Renpy because code confuses them. Especially if they have never seen it. Makes sense right? Not everyone can code. Or is it that you wanted to make a post that makes you sound like a Dick?
Either way is cool.
