Just add them to the atom in scripts. Life is a bit more resource intensive and has way more sliders to play with, VamMoan is a bit less hungry on script processing but has better sex sound effects.
There are a couple of dynamic expression scripts kicking about on the Hub, I'm not settled on a favourite yet. But if you only want to apply a facial expression, just go to female morphs, type in a name in the search like "Smile" or "Bored" or something and play with the sliders.

Well... both have two eyes, hair, a mouth and a nose... good start
and I bet the face expressions are 1000% better than those useless ones with all vecterror models

Afaik they are pretty similar in terms of functionality, just GIMP is free, Photoshop you can only get a free trial legit. Is there a specific tool/effect you are looking for?

For me the best results come from E-Motion v3 plugin. Just load a proper settig.

Poplular Morphs are Expressions_Reloaded-Lite and AshAuryn
But "Pain" or "aroused" is more easy .. smile looks always weird with "Robots"
