also cyclic dependencies or multiple references from lazsy repacks throws this kind of script off. A lot of people just bake in morphs or Oeshiis eye stuff or hair. Especially if the content WASNT varred. I have python script that can fix dependency issues and rewrite meta.json files, just I quickly ran into these kinds of problems. Then your vars also become something you can't share as you need to rename the new ones or include the new dependencies to not mess with the original authors namespace/versioning. I used it mostly for creating vars in bulk from older content, haven't really tested it agressively either. Stuff like presets I know I didn't handle right and had issues with. It's a tricky problem and quickly becomes a beast of a project on its own.
