you can see above the difference on the glute result in the simulation and framerate impact -10 FPS

Penetrations behave much more realistic with it without you have to fake it manually either using keyframe animation or physic based morph adaption via animation patterns.
And everything surrounding the Penetration is simulated like the fat waves on the ass checks on impact (bouncy fucks) you can simulate different masses :)

Hi all,

Is there any way to use the camera feed from the HP Reverb G2 to see the surroundings instead of the skybox while in VR?
Like the "Stationary Boundry: Passthrough" for the Quest 2:

Yes AR is doable and has been done before as experiments, but it is not part yet of the main integration
Though for successful AR you need much more there would be no light reaction to the changing environment this is future stuff, also no target of VAM.

Most Scene would just look so odd in AR depending on the Environment you blend it in, especially a lot of the cartoon like characters.

The current light model is not stable in any way for AR and there are not many who Design with this in Goal at all

AR in this complexity as VR in VAM will take still years to be efficient enough compared to a simulated environment.

There is a reason why most VAM scene are inside the lower Luminance Perception field.

VAM is buildup entirely on keeping resources low by cheating your feelings, and it works, it shows that we don't care so much what we see but more how it feels. :)

But of course the more we bring both together the even more immersive it becomes, and we are going straight into the experiences you know from SCIFI like the absolute masterful TEKWAR with it.

But VAM concentrates first and foremost on the Simulation part of complexity in its entire spectrum.

It's already complex adding the complexity of blending efficiently into AR in Realtime is so heavy look how far we are with Raytracing we are slowly getting there but bringing it all into AR this is so far away, especially for end consumer.

Though with advances in Machine Learning we got so much faster solving complex things, I'm not sure if it's really that far away anymore.

But overall we have much bigger problems to solve in our society and the future looks very dim again, and who knows if there will be a future anymore if we don't gather resources for more important problem solving fast.

The Current Generation was feelings wise, never closer to extinction than ever before.

krosos you alright? all those photogalleries of anna she doesn't seem very christian like. she's gonna end up hooked on meth and she'll look like a granny in no time and find herself up in some republican jesus boot camp to save metheads and she'll be tweaking away doing factory work. thats whats gonna happen if anna doesn't get her shit together alright.

Thanks Krosos. So disregarding the ability for models to blend well into the environment, and just using the camera feed instead of the skybox, do you have any example I can follow to test this?

There is a plugin somewhere on Vamscenes which uses the webcam passthrough interface of unity

Started to test Light and Model stability in other Scenes and some look variation result based on other creators assets (interoperability)

We can simulate any of those Results but no one of them can Simulate ours ;)


With VAM 2.0 we will fly everyone of them away in no time in so many directions, none of them will understand what hit them :D

As some one who's just discovered this it seems pretty cool BUT alot of stuff is locked behind paid stuff and more specifically paid "dependencies". Is there a link to bulk download the dependencies please?

Any help is much appreciated :)

To start, most paid dependencies are either clothing that would merely be missing upon loading a scene/look or scripts that often have free versions that would work as well with slightly less functionality. The latter often find there way here, to the Asset Updates, or kemono when they are updated.

So the now-closed Mod thread has a massive torrent with links on its main page of what you request from up to the end of 2020. Mod Thread First Page There was an updated torrent six months later that got pro-actively removed (hence the strikethrough on the links for it) for unknowingly including content that is apparently illegal in many countries accessing the thread. (I'm not interested in reopening that weird discussion of objectively disturbing but subjectively illegal content; please no one rehash the details). It had been removed and reposted as a new torrent which was slow to reseed; I'm not sure why it isn't there, though, but of course being closed it cannot be added there. Perhaps if our favourite mod gave up the green light, someone might share that here. I think it was called both F95 VAM Pack 2 ReRelease" (the July removal of offending content) and "1327065_F95_VAM_Pack_2_ReRelease" (an October/November repost or rerelease after further cleaning, not sure). Honestly, with the original torrent, you would have more than you'd ever need to get started; it's more of an issue that you wouldn't know where to start or what anything is and you don't want to download and dump it all into addonpackages no matter how much hd space you have; slimmer addonpackages folder for VAM is operationally best for most; also it would be a mess to navigate in VAM.

Suggestions. Install VAM. Go to the VAM hub (via desktop website) and look at the repeating dependencies of looks and scenes you think you might enjoy (free or paid, it doesn't matter); that'll show you many of the instances of which script, hair, and clothing vars are considered valued in the creator community. Find out which creators work you seem to enjoy. Peruse the torrent for said creator, or for new stuff, have yourself a kemono party in their name (not all hub creator names use the same patreon name, though). Search the old mod thread for similar content released up until the end of last year. Lastly, keep up with the Asset Updates here under downloads and filter for VAM. If you want a leg up on interaction, try VamX 1.6 and download the addonpakages pack. You could also go back to the mod thread and find EasyMate IV, but know it will no longer function as intended under VAM version 1.20. Its menus are scenes, though, so it can be loaded "in-game" to most functionality. The mod thread also has posts about reenabling certain functions of it (ex. extra quick buttons) by setting the necessary script as a session preset.

At this point, despite how much it was sometimes derided, one of the best ways to learn about VAM is to go through that closed Mod thread and search out posts on content creation and scene utilization for gaining familiarity. Bookmark posts that are useful to remember, bookmark where you leave off; it'll never grow any larger anymore. And ignore all the weird fighting and trolling that sometimes went on for pages in between content shares. I looked at it as simply the price of admission.

PS: All of these Results can be easily Prefabed individually and compared side by side using the subscene function ;)

Huge thanks for taking the time to go through and give such a detailed response. I will start in baby steps I guess and try stuff and learn through trial and error.

I did try previously but wasn't patient enough and found stuff broken/not working like in the previews and then got frustrated and gave up.

Thanks again for the help and guidance.
