A great answer, thanks. How about animated scenes? Can I stop them and kind of taker over? If so, how do I do that?
It depends. ;-)

It really depends on the setup of the scene. But usually you're able to start/stop animations (some people add "controls" to their scenes to let you start/stop/change animations, sometimes you have to know your way through the menus to find that animation to stop it), take over characters and so on. But sometimes, if you take possession of a character which has animations "attached" to it, which then interact with other characters/animations, taking over one character can screw up badly. (Not everything what seems to be animated has its own animation. Because there's physics involved, it may only need a single animation, and everything else is just "reacting".)

Take a look at the YT playlist I posted earlier, there are videos especially on "possessing". And of a scene with some controls, and I'm sure -- if you add another character male character and possess him, you could have a lot of fun :p

Thanks again, I have skimmed through some of the videos already. They seem to be geared more towards scene creators than casual users, but I have learned some nifty stuff from them. Me not having a VR kit seems to be the largest obstacle right now. Maneuvering the scenes with mouse and keyboard is not optimal.

Do you guys have any recomendations for a VR kit? I'm considering a HTC VIVE Cosmos, but damn that shit is expensive.

Also, is it considered bad manered around here to bombard the forum with questions? I have soooo many :D

The Steam Index or something is suppose to be the best one around but that shit is like $1000. people reflip them for like 1600 because of the supply issue right now or whatever the fuck is happening.

Cheapest starter kit is going to be minimum around 500. You might luck out and get a discount or watch craigslist or ebay on deals.

There's one on CL that was posted 2 weeks ago that dude got the Vive Cosmos and it made him sick, selling it for 500 because bestbuy wouldn't take it back so that would be a good option imo but only way I'd pick up an offer is if it's local but that's the risk in itself.

The Cosmos gets less than stellar reviews, so I guess I'll just have to wait until the Occulus Rift S is in stock again :-/

Are there any suggestions on what to set on the video card drivers or in game that makes the graphics more higher quality? I have a Radeon and literally turned everything on there to maximum and override but seems like the hair always still looks off compared to the screenshots or is it just the hairs that come with it?
Only thing that affects how hair looks is pixel lights and antialiasing, I suggest having both on at least 4. Try messing with the sliders a bit, a lot of previews for hairs have reshade on them so I think that's the difference you're seeing

I'm talking about the external settings. I set everything maximum inside VAM.
I set Radeon's software to everything max for quality/aa/etc. Like Tesselation to off, it won't show the full hair.
I fiddled more with the head and hair options and can now see more tweak settings that you talking about.

Edit: :) So I got my hands on an Odyssey+ and so far it's nice. A pain to setup so to speak because others have wrote about how to set it up proper through SteamVR. shit crashes like a lot but in terms of the graphics, those problems i'm seeing are less noticeable since well inside VR is entirely different.

When I see it through VR it's actually very nice considering the resolution is different. So that dude that I wrote about was right.
Right after I take it off, I feel a little dizzy. Really takes getting used to especially if you're doing the sit down method.

So far what I'm experimenting with are the must have plugins like the real gaze and such.

I don't know if this is common occurrence but I've had my Odyssey+ crash because SteamVR fucked. It'd take like 5 minutes or so maybe it overheated? but it'll reconnect again. So I'll go and say that yeah if you really want to get into this, you def need to get a HMD eventually. 300-400 is the sweet spot for a headset. Unless the Index does something extraordinary better than this one, not sure 1k is a worthwhile investment unless you've got certain VR/360 stuff you're really into. Maybe hope they make it work without SteamVR.

Just my opinion at least until the Hololens2 drops down from it's 3.5k+ price tag.

In this version how do you Add Characters
As you do in almost every other version that has been published so far: press "U" to open the game menu, then select "Edit Mode", press the blue plus sign ("Add Atom"), select "Category: People", "Atom: Person" and click "Add Atom". Done.

Oh, and before you ask "How can I change the just added female character into a male?" -- please take some time and watch those tutorials on Youtube I posted earlier.

The Load and Save Look under the Control menu of the character was mind blowing to me. For me it is best feature of VAM. It makes it really easy to switch up the girl/guy of your favourite scenes. I haven't seen it talked about in any of the tutorials I have seen so far.

I'm having fun with the available scripts and plugins people have made. Look up Compliance and Real Gaze, Emotions..

Then I saw R Engine one where you can have them dance and do other things for you? Still trying to figure it out but basically I think it's suppose to make them automatically do stuff as you set their personality.

If you willing to take the time to delve into everything it's pretty amazing what's available and possible to do. About to check out that rope plugin on the other thread lol

I haven't looked much into scripts and stuff yet, but yeah it is crazy what you can do in this program.

Is anal sex available in this game? I can't seem to get a penis to link to an anus at all. I'm a filthy desktop pleb as it stands so if anyone can help, please keep that in mind.
I assume it has to to with linking the two points, but I dont know.

Edit: solved it, it's just finicky when trying to insert there.

I know the current keys are already posted, but I made a keygen for this before finding the thread. It should work on any version as long as the key system works the same way. If a new version comes out just re-run it and it'll make a new key.json with all tiers. Exe is fast, covers the whole keyspace in around 10 seconds, but if you don't trust random exe's there's also a powershell version which you can see just does string/SHA256 operations albeit much slower (around 2 minutes). Just put either in the main VaM folder (alongside VaM.exe) and run it. No dll patching, no need to wait for a crack after a new version, just brute force the keyspace.

You still can (read and) use the PowerShell-Script which is also included, and I think the .exe is just a pre-compiled version of that script, but I can't tell you for sure. I never used any Keygen, I get my keys via Email by Meshed himself because I'm a subscribed patron.

No idea what that 1 engine is alerting on, only warning I see is file not signed (cause I just threw it together in visual studio). Here's the C# source if you want to build it yourself. FYI if you're dubious/curious about any .NET exe you can use dnSpy to see what it's doing. That's how I found the key method in the first place.

Code:
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Security.Cryptography;
using System.Text;
using System.Text.RegularExpressions;

namespace VaMKeygen
{
    class Program
    {
        static Dictionary<string, string> scenes = new Dictionary<string, string>();

        static void Main(string[] args)
        {
            string file = System.IO.File.ReadAllText(System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory() + "\\VaM_Data\\globalgamemanagers", Encoding.UTF8);
            MatchCollection matches = Regex.Matches(file, "Assets/VaMAssets/Scenes/Release(.*?)/([FTEC][a-f0-9]{6}).unity");
            string version = matches[0].Groups[1].Value;

            foreach (Match m in matches)
            {
                scenes.Add(m.Groups[2].Value, "");
            }

            for (int i = 0; i < 100000; i++)
            {
                CheckValue("FreeF", i);
                CheckValue("EntertainerE", i);
                CheckValue("TeaserT", i);
                CheckValue("CreatorC", i);
            }

            string content = "{";
            foreach (KeyValuePair<string, string> s in scenes)
            {
                content += Environment.NewLine + "   \"" + s.Value + "\" : \"true\",";
            }
            content = content.Substring(0, content.Length - 1);
            content += Environment.NewLine + "}";

            System.IO.File.WriteAllText(System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory() + "\\Keys\\" + version + "\\key.json", content);
        }

        static void CheckValue(string start, int value)
        {
            SHA256 sha = SHA256.Create();
            byte[] bytes;
            bytes = sha.ComputeHash(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(start + value.ToString("d5")));
            string hash = start.Last() + bytes[0].ToString("x2") + bytes[1].ToString("x2") + bytes[2].ToString("x2");

            if (scenes.ContainsKey(hash))
            {
                scenes[hash] = start.Last() + value.ToString("d5");
            }
        }
    }
}

Interesting game but you gotta have a kickass computer for this with lots of RAM. I downloaded the "easy" version with everything pre-made and scenes with more than 3 people just crash the program, and long scenes don't play all the way through. It's heavy, man.
