Hello. How to start and use it with 360 gamepad?
I used the desktop version without update so far. VaM_Updater.exe not working for me. Tried to fixed it but now the windows mixed reality app says error 15-5. Thank you for your help.

I set up desktop mode with a steam controller profile through Steam by pointing to vam.exe. It's nice to be able to map a gyro control to the mouse with a toggle on the tab key key to look around.
Most of the time, I end up just using the mouse and keyboard though.
I was wondering the same and decided to start a new list. Here's what I found by filtering reddit's content based on paid content:what happened to the post that mentioned a lot of different yiff party patreons for VAM? I wish I had copy pasted it to .txt file

Hey peeps, what should I do to enable sound in the game? The first time I ran VAM it worked fine with all the plugins. That's all I have is 1.19 clean, now theres no sound at all

This game is rough to play on desktop mode. It's like rocket science but once you manage to rub your fingers to the girl's pussy or grab the boobs without messing up your character, you get that sweet sense of success and pleasure.

Is VR actually a necessity on this game, or is it needed for like the best experience?

i looked, nothing else like this out there. there are other VR games out there, but they suck. it's not even a question of cost, they are just not worth playing. there are some promising unity games, but they don't support VR yet
that's correct you do NOT need it. the easier way to open this game without VR is open the VaM updater and at the top there is a button to launch the desktop version.
If you have a VR setup, then VAM is THE most immersive VR porn-hentai game system out there,
(once you figured out the basics)
so you could play without, but if you are looking for better VR experience in adult genre, currently none beats VAM.

It works fine, not only do you get better clarity but you also get higher framerate when compared to Virtual Desktop (i'm just assuming that's what you're using now if anything) as you don't use Steam VR anymore, you can use any old USB C cable these days too, not sure if you need to opt in to experimental features to use a USB 2.0 cable though, you used to have to but it might be a standard feature now.
Have tried VAM using any other headset? I'm looking to buy one and I mostly care about the visual clarity
