So let's resume this situation like my grandpa used to do :

- There's a fountain where you must pay for water
- But there's a source not so far where the water is free
- People came to destroy the source, arguing they will build it better
- Unfortunately, when rebuilt, the source is not working anymore ... like fucking dead ....
- But the people who destroyed the source are not doing anythything to fix it or to clean their mess, even worst : THEY EVEN FORBID PEOPLE TO CLEAN / FIX THEIR SHIT ... forcing everyone to stay waterless, contemplating the empty source ...

So YES, in those case there is two possibilities :
1 - Those people a did it in purpose, as this situation is only good for the paywallers ...
2 - They are acting like spoiled kid unable to accept their bloody massive failure, and imposing the consequences to everyone, like Cartman ...

So, why is there less sharing?

Because when people feel they are part of a community, they are more willing to share. They share with people they talk to, people they like, they can experience better others being grateful for their effort and it is done in a huge thread that everyone sees, so there is some kind of reputation/respect from others.

While the thread was really messy, it was a better system to encourage sharing. That's just human nature. The current system is clean, but now, what is your reason to share? Who are these people? You're not having a conversation with them, are you?

I'm probably the only one, but I'm actually really curious on how this has effected the paywallers? Have their numbers increased, decreased, or stayed the same? I'd love to know how this is working out for them.

+1 - that's what the thread and request have become - very well done. It is time to stop all personal patreon, focus on self-made models and scenes without sharing them in the hub. thats my strategy now.

Exactly, from the usage lf reddit to the ridiculous payment methods of patreon and the absurd paywalled stuff : this games need to be saved or it will fall as fast as it came ...

Look at this board, few smart mods have been able to kill it in less than a minute ....

I shared that idea of a steam release too, and I think that it may be a long term plan for meshedvr, but:
  • It seems that right now it's only a 2 man team and they put all their efforts in the development of 2.X
  • Steam rejected many aldult games that look more like porn than games, so it may just be a waste of time. There is almost no gamification in VAM.
  • Getting a lot of visibility seems to scare a lot of creators, because there are potential legal issues with the shared content.
Nobody wants meshedvr to spend half his time with DMCA, legal, bad media press (gonna happen with mainstream exposure), etc. They need a bigger team to figure out that stuff, and if it goes to the steam store, chances are the hub will be "purified" and more vanilla to be "compliant".

For the Premiere we would let Alyx do a Thresome with Gordon and the G-Man and as a surprise bring Gabe into as well presenting Half Sex 3 ;)

Who many Patreon Creators would like to see become Patreons as well because they are to good and way better than many of those Patreon loosers, they try everything to corrupt them over to their side but these 2 are way to strong, what most of these Patreon loosers will never understand ;)

And many of those Patreon Loosers have no idea who Nicho is ;)

Hey anyone know of any forums sharing stuff? This place crashed full speed into a brick wall after that main thread was closed. I cant find anything as good as that thread was

Ok I keep hitting walls with Virt-a-mate and the tutorials are no help.
Is the hair creator bugged? I cannot get this tool to work.
I can see the nodes and paint them but when I try to generate, the hair does not show up at all.
I even tried maxing out the length and segment count but nothing is there despite the game freezing for a few seconds as if it loaded something.

And if you smart enough you can learn a lot from these results, much more then you could from any of those countless patreon loosers who do million iterations and if you lucky 1 works efficiently and can survive and they have no idea in the end why this is ;) .
