Anyone that is subscribed to this guy? Please reply to him saying that pirating 10 folds his potential patreons, same thing happened with musicians back when p2p started, this is due to the simple fact that more people get exposed to the artists due to our nature to share everyhthing

I have patreon , and my works are out there, like seriously...
If Patreon is used for SELLING and MARKETING Bullshit, they should remove the words of SUPPORT YOUR ARTIST...

If he's gone there will be another one nothing he does is unique remember this you wannabe artists.
Non of these characters is his own Blood and tear work NONE.
All of them are stolen (pirated) from other either Real ARTISTS created from HUMAN Data.
It is hard to call this even modding "a very technical thing of conversion mostly, in the case of porting GAME characters especially" ART the main ART was already done in what you are converting as a result, except maybe you have your very own way of making it function uniquely for VAM or you change the entire idea of the Artist behind it and mesh out something unique.
You are selling your time nothing more TOBI19 remember that you are no Real Artist.

Even under this perspective Crazy3DModeler is a Real Artist, there are very few who could call them real Artists when it comes to conversion others work.

A real Artist over time also develops his very own Signature in his Work it becomes part of him it becomes really unique often though it is hard to see with Game characters that are mostly human clones nowadays.

Mostly for Conversions what count's is tech Art Skills and more skills on the tech side then the ART side.

I would never ever take the word im a Artist in my mouth if i would only convert others work without a unique touch overall under those skill assumptions TOBI19 is weak he's not on the level of JACKAROO for example, losing him would be a real loos and something to mourn about.

His lose would be really none believe me he will be replaced in no time by someone else and this is going on continuously there are more and more converters spreading out of the NOOC Hive.


And questionable if he would even survive VAM 2.0 without a lot of help from others.

And even if you don't want to believe it it is much harder replacing someone like Crazy3dModeler and Jackaroo than Tobi19.
Crazy3DModeler and Jackaroo are true Artist also if it is maybe harder to understand for Jackaroos work as he mainly also does conversions but his work is really unique and it is crazy that he doesn't starts to show his own Signature entirely and leaving those conversions beyond :)

Tobi19 is currently more in the group of special target group "demand supplier" nothing more and he is neither a very advanced TECH nor ARTIST.

immyneedscake is also 10x more advanced then him if you want a rating board as "modder capabilities"

Fresh Blood is coming in all the time, next wave is going to arrive with 2.0, though it will be a more advanced wave like in the beginning ;)

Some might spread out to Mirage we'll see but seeing Morgana stuck in a 4-6 Hour Workflow and the Hair problem is going to come closer hitting full power it's still very open if the head start of it before VAM 2.0 alpha/beta will be so impressive at all as some believe it to be we'll see it will all depend on how efficient Morgana will be able todo it for now it looks not so promising not surprisingly being now forced more and more into the Unity Main Workflow and all it's restrictions on the creation part and also the import tough VAM 2.0 is going the same way now for more interop flexibility and easier sync with the Main Unity Core.

And overall both have no real other decision space at all which is sad and destroys especially some of the key points that made VAM so successful but without full Source XS to Unity no Chance todo it different being flexible.

It will be a really interesting race to a efficient workflow and finding some good problem solutions and who knows when 2 are fighting trying to solve new problems this might give some unexpected 3rd some time to surprise which for now looked like to be far in the back of both of it's possible contenders in several key areas but now i would say it could become interesting again, as a rather hidden project in dev for some time.

Well, SW development isn't an art, and it isn't rocket science either.
It is basically a craftmanship.
Therefore it needs two things to build a product: organized activities, and a lot of MANPOWER.
We are talking about a couple of thousend hours here.
Mesh is basically alone, with some help of others.
This project was never about the money, money is just greasing the gears.

Forward Compatibility V1 -> V2 is not to be expected, cos with these resources: it will just not happen.
There must be a basic problem in the architecture of V1, so he decided to build V2 from scratch, to fix all the problems.
And yes, there will be beta testing by us users. (and likely gamma delta epsilon zeta testing too...)
Because with these limited resources, its not possible to achive a stable product in time.
So it's a work in progress: user feedbacks absolutely essential to get V2 working.

What i will do:
Hold on to V1 as a stable product, but install and use V2 when its available, give feedback when i think its helpfull.

I Support Mesh, i do not support any of the vultures hanging on to the project.
Basically because its not art what they are doing, its just poking around and converting some DAZ content.
Yes, a few have some talent, but its simply not enough for me to take them serious.



PS

Not many people are good at sw-development, because it needs a special imprinted skillset, which you cannot learn.
SW-Education is basically to learn how to use your skillset in an organized manner.
Thats why humankind is always short of resources in development, until the Butlerian Jihad that is....

I would have rather seen stabilizing 1.x completely and moving it efficiently to the new Unity HDRP core and a Deferred Renderer
We are doing the same shit as DAZ currently, though we are back limiting also again with the Sync to Unitys way having no access to it's source for more efficient implementation with higher performance goals and more efficient workflow, that wouldn't need external import from Unitys Editor Framework.

Can be all done with Unreal but it would be such a Undeground project against all Unreal License Terms if not keeped internal Studio use only.

Mirage and VAM 2.0 will face the same limitations here

Do we have a urge to keep every of those DCC suppliers in the GAME ?

Though Unity will get really strong now with the Acquisition of Weta Digital, but never forget it is all in the purpose of binding you to their cloud infrastructure like on Unreals side.

VAMs realtime capabilities made it possible for me to evolve in 1 of the most hardest problems i got stuck in for years "Believable Emotional Output in Realtime Context without Face Capture" that doesn't overall need Genesis 3/8 improved FACS

For me Personally this has so much more value then anything that 2.0 could do better overall.

Though if it works so Amazing for Genesis 2 i don't want to know which results we will drive in no time out of 8

Moving to the improved Job System though is absolutely needed to stay in competition with anything more advanced that should hit from the Unreal side (though it looks like nothing to fear from that side most approaches fail, yet).
And under those license terms nothing more Advanced to fear at all, that could hit the public outside of the cloud overall.
Holodexxx was the only real competitor in sight but they stagnate (after the Steam Fail) and concentrating more on other endeavors to survive now long term overall it seems (the knowledge from that ex Ubisoft part is pretty heavy).

Illusion also seems to gone to sleeping times again, rather to fear are all these chinese that spawn up out of nowhere everywhere :D

They've stated in the past that it's easier to start over than keep working with poorly optimized 1.x code, it had hit a performance ceiling which they couldn't address without a complete rewrite, and since performance and stability is the main issue i can see why they would do it now rather than later.

Actually some porn studios are working on their own product. No I'm not talking about holodexx, that was a joke. This is actually a more concerted effort by several large houses. I'd like to remind everyone why we actually have the internet and how it really came to be. Had it not been for the porn industry needing a way to let people pay for content we would never have the internet. It was the porn industry that saved it from its pubescent early html days. Had they not stepped in we would not have it of that you can be certain. No other company was looking to take the internet to the next level as a matter of fact most of the big players at that time wanted to continue with the models they had that were working. I'm referring to the sears catalog model that amazon was able to translate to the internet after serious groundwork had been done by the porn industry.

In any case, I've been told next year is when the early release will be out. Basically a demo/beta release. This is being done with vr and ar both in mind. It will not be translated over to crapple because the ceo there hates porn with a passion for some reason.

I've found two scenes that aren't working correctly in VR.
Instead of being able to see in VR, it feels like two separate screens.

Is there a way to fix that?

what I don't understand is if they are worried about support why don't the just put a link that goes to advertisements i.e. get paid to click in the website as a URL window. I wouldn't mind that at all personally. And I'm sure most people here wouldn't mind. either. instead of complaining about pirating do a work around because there's no way to stop it.
