Did anyone manage to get SSS to work with Tesselation? Those two things tremendously increase the quality of the character models, but I can't find a way to use both of them simultaneously. First I tried Subsurface Scattering Skin Beta 4 because it has both SSS and Tesselation, but while SSS works great, Tesselation generates artifacts across the model, even when it's nude. Then I found

and by itself, it does work great but when SSS is enabled, AutomaticBodySmoother doesn't do anything, it won't work on a model with SSS enabled. Any tips?

i didn't saw this thing going on but from what i read out here it seems rather some Futa King was pissed of, she starting to play on his ground.
Maybe indeed she was under pressure with futa demand and couldn't deliver her own results fast enough would be sad to hear she copied therefore someones results and it doesn't matter by agreement or not to keep up with that demand for it.

I thought Crazy is a male but these days that does not mean much anymore if your born as a female or male as it can be changed to the other gender of something in between. Those creators with paid wall stuff most of them do not have a license from Daz3D or permission to make a profit based on the genesis 2 model. If they do need financial support they should ask it in a way as compensation for time spend on creating the content not the content itself. They also should in my opinion release the stuff to the public for free once they have been compensated financially to cover the expenses of making then content then there would be no need for them to feel hurt about their stuff being shared by others. Some creators are just very greedy keep earning money on content and keeping it behind paywalls and then bitch about it being shared by someone who paid them money. The sharing should be seen as a compliment people like/love the content and advertise it for you it gains in publicity and awareness. If your a positive creator people will start to support you without you giving them two choices spend money on the content or you are excluded from using it.

Hi All, so forgive my ignorance on this but I'm trying to shrink down the sheer number of VAR files to something more reasonable and one idea I thought was (I'm sure someone already has done this or mentioned it but my search turned up nothing) combining some of these looks and clothes by the same author into a single var. Is this doable and if so would i just need to copy them all into one new var and update the meta file with the paths for the additions? It would be so much easier if these creators did this or if mesh had a way to update the vars somehow to put them into a single var instead of ver 1-40000...
do you have to provide a full path for each addition or can you just go to the top level creator name and call it good?

crazy 3d modeler is complete ass. i'd place them in their mid 20's with the mentality of a 10 year old. Went apeshit stupid on beyod discord like how teh millenial neckbeards used to act 2010 all over youtube complaining and crying about everything. Definately a dude. This was back when somone shared mega mirrors of that stuff shortly after everyone went off about his content looking like fried chicken skin. So in turn he spammed pages and pages, and pages and pages, of gay porn gifs on discord. Highly unlikely a "realgirl" like kittymocap would behave like that. "realgirls" just manipulate and lie.

I jumped in when they claimed to be a girl, so I wasn't about to start accusing anyone of lying about their gender or anything since it didn't pertain to the main issue--however, Crazy was spouting a lot of BS about being the oldest in a family of 22, needing to make rent, etc etc etc. so them making up shit about being girl to get sympathy wouldn't surprise me. they were clearly doing everything they could to get everyone off their back

what it comes down to is their latest release used a VREN texture, which you at least have to credit the creator with, but crazy doesn't credit anyone and claimed to be using other people's textures (which they've been accused of doing in the past) not as a ripoff, but a reference.

I convinced them to show their work, because they were *trying* to claim that there was a texturegen they were using, but it basically went from base colors and shapes to the fully detailed piece. But then they claimed they spend 18 hours recreating other people's work, so at his point if they aren't blatantly stealing and modifying to look different, they're counterfeiting other people's work.

I don't mean to be racist, but it's not like asian countries aren't known for counterfeiting, so if they have a legitimate misunderstanding on language + how their actions are unethical, I wouldn't hold it against them--but they didn't seem much for understanding and just wanted to keep making money without getting called out for their unethical behavior.

Yes can be done has been done it would be interesting if it could lower the per execution memory consumption, though the best option if you don't really need .var try to avoid it as much as possible.

Test Setup is now 8000 scenes around 20 GB cache used so far overall stable only the overall memory consumption is critical high loading some scenes with the current Disaster of GC is a crash party.
Changing to some very bad unoptimized assets can also speedup the crashing interval.

The first alpha version of 2.X will be released soon:

The 1st alpha is coming soon. 2.X has a long development road ahead (years). Alpha and beta releases will happen along the way. I can't give specifics because I don't know and I'm also terrible at estimates.

The alpha is just using a throwaway UI and is pretty plain. The plan is to create UI that allows for skins and customization.
Also will add language support

1st alpha will only have like 3 morphs to play with. There is not room on the UI to put more. Until I build the real parameter and UI system I don't want to pile more in. The 1st alpha is more of a tech demo...

The 1st alpha will only have a single female model and you cannot add additional models or objects.

Kala 8 is the model we are using in the 1st alpha. That is what has been shown.

2nd alpha will likely focus on these 3 things:
1. skin physics
2. parameter and save/load system
3. UI (both desktop and VR - they will be independent this time)
