Isnt Browser Assist from Jayjaywon better? It has integration with UIAssist, from the same author.
Browser Assist only works with the installed .vars, while the other moves all .vars outside of AddonPackages, but still makes them viewable and installable in it's browser, though i haven't used it much.

*edit* so i played around with it a bit more now. Got all my 15k+ vars loaded into it from the AllPackages folder, cleaned some 20gb of duplicated with it. The UI is similar to Browser Assist, but less fine grained, you can't import specific looks and presets and such things, but can select which vars you can't to load, so you can search through all clothing and select the vars you want. After you've loaded some vars they will appear in BrowserAssist, so it's an extra step. Loading your saved presets, plugins and otherwise, will load the required packages when you do.
You are able to load the hub with it, and can download missing deps and such, unsure if it's for all vars or just the loaded ones? When i downloaded some missing, and then tried to do it again it downloaded another batch of missing, so maybe a bit bugged there.

So it's great as it decreases the load time and staggering a lot, so the extra time you can spend on it's ui loading wars.

What? Hell no!
Var Browser is using a BepInEx script which handles vars kinda different? Iam not 100% sure how this works, but it works!
No matter how bloated your VaM folder is, EVERYTHING feels like on a fresh VaM installation.
Downloading big hub files won't freeze the game anymore, loading times are like x10 faster and overall stability like lags midscene or whatsoever are almost completly gone.
With the new overlay you can also sort out invalid and old versions of var's.
It moves them to a different folder so you can manually check before deleting them.
Funny, I came here to talk about folder optimization I'm doing through .bat files to handle repetitive work. But I guess an interactive tool is better if you have a reasonable quantity of work. I'm uploading those executables anyway, maybe someone prefers to dealing that way idk.

Please edit the "set" variables before the "for" loops to try it.

So... The solution is delete the junk AND move the .var to a pre-installed stage where is no preview and manual selection of what you want is needed?. I'm still thinking about it, IDK

You can "install" the files you need within the new browser.
Iam using this for months now and installed all my shit Iam using anyways.
If you are unsure, just make a backup of your VaM installation and then give it a try. But you do not want to go back after you checked, I promise ;)
Idk about your script, I would be very cautious.

chatGPT wrote it for me and it's clear at plain sight that isn't a fine code tho. There is a great room for improvement in the code, but it just works for what I want.

Give it a try
Surely I'm doing it, but it feels like for someone who knows wich packages already want and less for my actual workflow of discovering new assets/clothes/morphs meanwhile editing scenes.

Does anyone know of a scene like that's less demanding? I'm looking for a scene that has poses, basic idle animations, mirror/lighting options, etc. Unfortunately while I love TryOnMaster, it takes 5+ minutes to load every time since there are so many environments/options/dependencies. I'm pretty much wondering if anyone knows of a TryOnMaster Lite version? Any help would be appreciated.

And yes I know there are scenes for poses, but the idle animations really make TryOnMaster better

Browser assist does not move anything. It only disables the .var, but keeps the preview and manual selection.

Did you install the CPU patch mod? It makes load times much better!

As for scenes... maybe this is too specific, so you better create your own presets and use on a scene that has the basic idle animations. Cuddlemocap has some nice idle animations

You can create lighting options using UIAssist+Lumination (hint: create a subscene, add lumination and lights to it, save the preset, then create an UIAssist button... thats enough for a hint). I'm sure there is an easier way, I just unaware of it.

You can load poses easily with Browser assist

Browsing internet to find how to play these games on VR. How do you guys set it up?
I don't think Quest PC Link or SteamVR will work, right? Do I need to purchase and use Virtual Desktop?

VD works best for me. But any streaming app should work. Check if ALVR is working properly. It used to have finger tracking which is awesome
