Thanks i guess that got me confused since i did not see multiple protagonist tag so i assumed this was a one off thing etc..It showcased a potential love interest from the dark side.. one scene hinted the possibility of the Prince falling to the dark side of the force.
It's her turning point as I said before, now she can stay pummeled to the ground and wait for Prince charming or raise and be her own hero.... I'm not sure about others but the second option... me likey. So, the first 2 girls I set my sights on get killed.
The next girl I set my sights on gets kidnapped and raped.
Someone let me know when something goes right.
Yes the twins died during escorting the prins, and the other one got also some sore of bad end. in oblivion. Also the mom made a pact with a bad character.. so who knows what will come of that !!So, the first 2 girls I set my sights on get killed.
The next girl I set my sights on gets kidnapped and raped.
Someone let me know when something goes right.
"A wizard is never late" (or i hope not). I'm don't like to comment a lot, cause I tend to make a wall of text (sry ), but i still have something to say about this topic.first of all that wasn't netorare as the girl wasn't stolen, perhaps and she doesn't seem to want to return to that place but she had no choice...
I believe what the update tried to do is make both the MC and Anete realise how hopeless they are and how powerless they are at the moment... MC's carelessness caused the death of Anete, her innocence and a twist of fate sent her to a place she shouldn't be. Decima reminded me of a scene from the lord of the rings where Eowyn stands against the nazgul. But! Anete is no warrior, she is a pure naive girl that shouldn't be alive, if it wasn't for the prince's attempt to play hero. And yet here she was stading against a demonic being on a dragon. what was she supposed to do? Kill Decima with laughter trying to act though? it was a scene unfortunately necessary for her growth and anyone paying attention to the story shouldn't find it arousing. what I want to know is how she'll evolve.... will she keep being the lamb for the slaughter or will she raise and shine with some power inherited from her mother...
I'll end this wall of text with a great movie quote that could be interpreted as 2 Vis players talking about this update:
Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.
Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.
So, it looks like maybe that might still show up.The whole scenes are to create a path where Anete will start wanting more than the usual and where she will explore her sexuality.

"First of all", I don't remember Nazgul raping Eowyn , or any mention of rape in LOTR . I understood your association but I think the point here is the own NTR, and in this case there some BIG diferences, first: she was a prisoner, so she was technically "stolen", I know that you mean in a emotional way, well, i don't remember she asking to stop after it started and by in the dev words:
So, it looks like maybe that might still show up.
I like to propose a little mental exercise: Imagine the EXACTLY same scene, BUT Decima was a MAN (DECIMUS!!!, i like this name, pompous), not calling it an NTR is really unreasonable.
I done some research in the NTR gender (I know, I shouldn't stare at the abyss that long), and not sound like a expert in the gender (i don't even like it, for fuck's sake), I'd like to quote some meanings:
"It consists in provoking a feeling of discomfort and sadness by portraying an individual having their partner, potential lover or loved one being "taken away" by someone else through romantically or SEXUALLY speaking."
or
"The story will then show the aforementioned heroine being intimate with another man/woman thus provoking jealousy in the audience by proxy."
So, she doesn't necessarily have to be emotionally involved and she seems to be very sexually involved, the dev said she will like to explore this sexuality even more.
Anete is a classical NTR "heroine" (yes "they" use this term, but i don't think taking in all your holes while your bf/gf is forced to watch is that heroic), innocent, no friends, constantly bullied, an "outcast" as she is referred, until a "knight of shinning armor" comes to rescue her from this bad world, and since the game had shown more similarities to GoT than LoTR, I already had painted this picture (NTR) when she was presented, I'm just disappointed that comes to this predictable point.
To conclude i'd like to use summarize my comment in an old abductive reasoning:
"If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a FUCKING duck."
