At some point law enforcement was mentioned but there's no clear answer on that disco, or at least none you can find w/o reading every message there. Most likely why that guy was trying to bait ya'll into searching for him.
Nonesense. You can easily Unren a renpy game and get at least all the code back. You can get the assets as well but of course only the compressed ones if it was compressed before the build. In fact I Unren this very game to give me some hints from the code because it is unclear how far the current development progressed.

He can recover images/sounds/code used in the last build, but nothing he was working on since and the models he's created in whatever renderer he uses can't be recovered using that method. You don't think he draws those images by hand, do you?
As of yesterday everything in their discord has been deleted and this is the only message. They were starting on a new game and had posted some previews but I guess something happened again.

Aw man, fuck this shit, the series are awesome and those visuals in this one was amazing, it is really sad to see this, god damn it, I was looking forward to it and wishing for the best but yeah, it is what it Duskvale was probably one of the best well crafted R18 games I have played in terms of visuals, mechanics, and overall interesting characters and not being a novel itself, it is heartbreaking to see how this ends man... the visuals in this one as well were rocking, thank you for your hard work and games Fluxcarnal, hope you have the thrive to start new projects or even continue this one in the future, much love.

So no code work saved locally? It's not that difficult to recover deleted data with recovery tools. This serves as good reminder to save 2-3 backup copies of your data at different locations. I never trust cloud solutions they can wipe your stuff for simply having copyright media present.
