If this is Illusion version so yes Only steam version need Illusion patch and this you can find on Illusion site

If you have trouble starting the game, start the game once through the launcher (InitSetting.exe), this will check for errors and fix them as well before starting the game.
Some words first:
This game doesn't utilize the "normal" way Illusion stores configurations, as such the launcher requires a lot of rework to get working properly for this game. I will get back to that at a later time to allow for the normal uniform experience, but for now, hold shift while opening the game to reach resolution options, and all other options can be changed ingame.
What is a museum release:
Communities around these games are pretty much dead, so it's hard to get help with regards to these, and they're more often than not in their own engine. I test them to the best of my abilities, but may not be able to offer much support myself if something breaks with these. The communities surrounding these may be rather small, or non-existent, so help is very hard to get for them anywhere. There may or may not be updates to these packs, no guarantees.

I don't recommend just extracting this over another repack, due to potential conflicts. Please extract this to its own folder and move over your chara, cap, studio and save folders.

It's rather a long process to get it working.
I did it wirelessly using Virtual Desktop.
The final step that had me tripped up was that I needed to add it to Steam via my desktop computer as a non-steam game and then go into properties and tick the box for Steam VR.
Basic Steps:
Edit the registry file for the game and point it to the directory you have it installed and then add that registry entry.
Enable Developer mode on your Quest 2 (sign up for an account, enable through the Oculus App, install the Oculus driver for your computer)
Download: sidequest for Quest 2, Oculus App for your PC and Steam VR. Install all 3.
Install virtual desktop on your Quest 2
Download and install the Virtual Desktop streamer on your computer. Run the streamer.
Plug in your Quest 2 to your computer (if you haven't already you'll need to put the headset on and click the prompt to give your PC access to your quest.)
Run sidequest (might need to put your headset on again to approve prompt for accessing headset). Then search for "virtual desktop" and install the beta for wireless access to play games.
Add the game to Steam if you haven't already (as mentioned above).
Open virtual desktop on your headset. Launch the init setup and pick all your settings. Then launch the game via Steam.
I didn't do anything of it, just make sure you have instlled steam vr, virtual desktop and oculus link (for the drivers of the quest 2) Don't launch vrkanojo while you are log on steam and that's it.

I downloaded the files and spent a good hour figuring out why i could not extract the 7zip part files, until i realized the issue was the naming. They are named "[ScrewThisNoise] AI-Shoujo BetterRepack R9.1 SPLIT.7z.001" Upon further inspection, i realized the file names were the issue, as the full names of the files were actually "[ScrewThisNoise] AI-Shoujo BetterRepack R9.1 SPLIT.7z.001.008" and so on. The numbers in the file name confuses 7zip and until you delete those numbers from the name it will not work. If i am not stating something obvious, which i may very well be doing, please change the names of the files to remove those numbers at the end.
When I try to start the game nothing really happens. A small "window" appears in the middle of the screen that I think just have the minimize, maximize, and X button but literally nothing else. I do hear some music so something is starting but it isn't going into VR or something. I'm using a Quest 2 using virtual desktop.
do you have steam installed ? and steam vr ?, also, did you install oculus link ?
Yes I have Steam VR downloaded and I'm plugged into my headset with the link cable. I have the Oculus app installed as well as virtual desktop with the patch from SideQuest. I don't think I've installed anything specifically for Oculus Link, unless you mean Virtual Desktop Streamer.
Ok from what you say I tihnk you should be able at least to launch the game, going into vr mode is another step. That make me think that your files are corrupted or something like that. Try another build ? I suggest either to try the official benchmark on steam, but i can understand you don't want your friend to know about it, or you can try the "official" build of this thread on the first page.
I got the game to launch in VR but I don't know how to change the language to english. I've read a few posts here but they haven't worked. When I try to run InitSetting it says "VRKanojo is not Installed" despite the fact that I can run it.

... Maybe add that to the release posts going forward...Did any of you guys get this working for the G2? I've tried dozens of control bindings and can't get it to work. I have to use the mouse to start the action, then I can control the speed with the controller, and have to finish with the mouse.
Im using Quset 2 and stock at point where I getting hand job. I pulled her hand towards me and nothing happen but she keep saying can we start or something. Is there different way or I need to edit controller setting?
I'm also Using Quest 2 and like previous commenters have said you can't progress using the controllers, but you can still left click, right click, or use the scrollwheel of your mouse to progress past the hand job scene. Left click initiates it, the scroll wheel changes the speed, and right click you ejaculate.
