while i am generally a huge fan of lain's work the this mod doesn't seem to take into account karma at all, which from what the creator has said will play a role in the way the story plays out. maybe its just that it doesn't take it into account for the early stuff but this is a rare case where i might not actually use one of lain's mods

Are you sure you followed the installation instructions correctly and put the mod into the correct folder? What does the traceback say?

There is no karma system in this game. xD Even if it might not seem like it, but currently the karma points aren't real and the game is almost completely linear and doesn't keep track of your choices. So the mod makes the game experience a bit better imo by removing the illusion of the karma system. When the game gets completed there will be a karma system added, so when there is I will update the mod for the karma stuff.

ah, well in that case i'll continue to use your mod. I had noticed in my current playthrough i had made a good karma choice in not letting the statue in art class break but when it came to the scene where you are the model it acted like the statue had broken. That and Elizabeth on the train acted like I had molested her before when I'd never had that scene happen. I look forward to seeing how the game and your mod will change in the future

ok, somehow it fixed itself, i went and just did a clean install of both the game and the mod and it launched, I havent seen anything in the form of the usual walkthrough where it'll highlight choices and such, but i'll keep going and see if it shows up and report back here. dont know what i did to get it working again, this would be the 4th time i did a clean install and past 3 times i got the traceback error x.x

Game/Creator: Waifu Academy /
Modder:
Game Version: 0.9.4a

Features:

In-game Walkthrough:
This mod adds an in-game walkthrough to the game Waifu Academy! If there is a choice that leads to a scene that could be missed it will be highlighted green so you don't miss any scenes. Any choices that lead to game over scenes will also have a note next to them to let you know that they lead to a game over. I've also removed all of the superficial karma popups, which makes the game experience much better.

Option to start at new content:
When you start a new game you have the option to either start at the beginning of the game or skip to the start of the new update in case you've lost your save and don't want to replay the earlier parts of the game.

Improved Scene Gallery:
The mod also improves the scene replay gallery by adding around 35 scenes that are missing from the official gallery, and all of the gallery scenes are now already unlocked by default.

Improved UI:
Improves the game's UI by replacing the textbox with one that is smaller and more transparent, makes the text more readable, and adds an option to disable the quick menu and phone button so they don't block the screen.

HD Images:
I've also made an optional "HD Images" mod that replaces the game's images with ones that are higher quality and aren't as compressed. The original images are 800mb total size of quality while the HD Image mod is 2GB total size of quality.

Free Roam / Open World:
Ever wanted to just chill and explore the world of Waifu Academy? The final feature that the mod adds is a standalone free roam mode with a day/night and event system with 27 locations and 46 events. The free roam mode is separate from the main story and can be started from the main menu.

It's not giving me the option to start at v9 or v9.4, which it did before, now whenever I try to start a new game, it just takes me to the very beginning, am I doing something wrong?

The first day of the game is linear so the choices all lead to the same thing, so there isn't anything to highlight. I don't think it's until the second day of the game when there's a highlighted option. If you see the "Lain Mod Installed" text on the main menu, then the mod is definitely installed and working.

When you click Start and do a few more clicks to get past the age warning, you should see the choices of where to start. If you don't, are you sure you followed the mod instructions correctly?

Not sure if this matters but when I first played, 2 weeks ago, it let me start at 9.4, I finished and saved. Now I wanna do a new run starting at v9 but it won't let me, as described in my original post. Mod is installed correctly as far as I know, it shows Lain's Mod Installed on the main menu.

Idk if this can be added to the mod but the fact that everytime I want to save I need to hit return since R-click wont bring me back to the game is annoying so could make that R-click will open and close with just one click?

I've checked through previous posts and couldn't find an answer to my question...If there was something about it previously, please forgive my asking, I must've missed it.

Is there a way to re-enable the phone once you've used the mod to disable it? I've looked everywhere I could think of and can't seem to find a way to get the phone to show again.

Aside from that, thank you very much for all the effort you put into your mods Maim Lain , they make playing these games much more fun for me.
