there are a couple mentions in this thread and the Forum generally, but so far the recommendations go either in the art-direction, meaning if you like the models, you could go for something like Mythic Manor.
The other direction is the story-route, and tbh, i haven't come across something in a similar vein as this. Closest would probably be One more Chance, since the Main Protagonist there also is a lot more mature than the people around him, has the school setting and tries to get with some girls. The revenge-part is fully missing tho.
So yeah, search around for a bit, and you'll find a couple recommendations.
But you kinda have to know what you're looking for.

Yeah I am glad that the game is not trying to focus at just one character at the time, nor did it try to abuse 1 plot point, the love potion could have easily dominated the rest of the game and has still potential to do so, but I am glad that you have a character that while is trying to have an over-arching plan seizes and looks for windows opportunities that do not just happen by coincidence.
Even if I were a Patreon I rather not see the author steer the story toward a particular girl because of being asked, I know that a character will be reached eventually. With that said, I am not going to write anything anymore until an update drops.

please help I didn't know the game just straight up fails you at certain points, I wanted to go with a high karma run and i intervened with the journalist chick's rape thing and I didn't save because I'm dumb.
Go to AutoSave page, the page with a big A. you should be able to get a nearest save point of your game progress.
And try all other options as well, since the karma system is not implement yet, the game is very linear ATM.

Never knew that was a thing with this engine and managed to fuck it up by starting a new game thinking I could just skip through, I realized I went to far. All well I'll just skip through tomorrow when I have time. Thank you for telling me about this though I will have to remember it for future use when my stupidity wins over me again.
