Look, i'm with you that it's not the best impression we are getting with this much of a delay.
Still, i think you playing the antagonist here, claiming he's totally milking everyone for the money, and then spouting "put up or shut up" and "don't say anything until you back it up" is really sad. It makes it pretty obvious that you're not even playing fair by your own rules. Or are rules just intended to work if they work in your favor ?
It's fair to say the dev could in theory be withholding updates for a better hourly rate, since he would have to put in less work. That's basically the flaw of the patreon system, and even if we had that discussion like a bazillion times, it's fair to point it out again here or there.
You can also attack the ones defending the dev, and argue he has to actually show things to the non-patrons as well, to not lose their trust.
But please, don't go this aggressive on both sides. It makes you look like an idiot with too much rage in his belly.

This guy gets it, studio neo which a lot of the devs use for these types of games takes no where near the amount of time it does for say a DAZ 3D VN. A lot of the other HS devs are pushing out more content in a month or two than this guy does in six. I personally cannot blame him because if people continue to pay after all these lengthy delays then why not milk that sweet cash. Is it scummy? sure no doubt but unless those people stop paying he will keep doing it and let's be honest he is not the only one there plenty of them are doing this.
More cultist-like behaviour than Stockholm Syndrome. Human brain work like that, some people who masturbate intensly to his scenes start to associate them with intense pleasure and catharsis. Discord reinforce this phenomenon which creates this atrocity of the fanbase. You can see this in the other games too, fujioshi (women who like to read pseudo-gay pornography) are another similar case.

Found android port 0.7.1a by the66, not trying to tell moderators how to do their job but daaaam itd be cool & more organized if 3rd party ports could be linked in the OP >;D

I think android ports are pretty limited only a few people do them which is surprising given the fact a lot of people seem to use android for these games.

i'm still hesitant to pay a premium price for a hentai game, i mean by the time the game (hopefully) completes, patrons will have been paid a premium price, or even more.

i got an idea, anyone on irphaeus discord should tell him if he cares that much about the quality, fix the story or progression or whatever when he's doing the second or third route.
i don't mean he should, but i do think it's better for him to pump out updates steadily during the development of the first route. changes and fixes can be done during the second, and in this way the story will still be fresh and provide something new even after the first route is done.

You aren't wise because you're angry about a porn game you probably don't even pay for.
Some of us recognize that their development is shitty but aren't angry because we have more important things to focus on because we have lives.
I don't think of this as a insult. It's just like you said, I don't have a life and I'm utterly fascinated by those type of behaviour.
At some point during the development of "Teachers Pets" creator of the game said that he is targeted by another developer who secretly is a superhacker and he destroyed his computer and microwave.
People belived him and agressively attacked anyone who had guts to doubt developer. It was amazing.
I'm willing to bet that if you go to the Waifu Discord and gave a proof that Icareus broke some of his promises and works less than he work before you would brutally attacked by his supportes and probably banned by moderator.
And don't get me wrong I don't think that every Icareus supporter is a cultist, I'm pretty sure most are not. But I see more and more of this phenomenon in the internet, especially in sex-related issues therfore I think that is worth noting.
