I think retarded brainless people need to stop paying or he needs to pause his Patreon payment and activate again when the update is ready but while there is people who late with the development and still paying why not keep screwing just like Perv2k16!
PSA : Just so that all of you realize how much money the developer has been milking out of you since the last update (September 19 = 6 months) :
The developer is not even losing patrons... only gaining more and more even without an update.
Graphtreon's estimate for earnings (that are not published anymore by the way, hmm how weird is that ?) are between 3k and 8K.
But I'll try to be more precise : From the graph, we can see that 1200 is a good approximate mean of patron amount since september 19.
The first patreon level for Irphaeus is $3, so that means at the very least $3600/month. It's obviously way higher than that. I could go with complex models, but let's just stay simple for the sake of this little exercise. Even if earnings are not published anymore, we still have numbers from the time before he disabled it. And particularly Earnings per patron : it has never been less than $7/month/patron, (the last number available is $7,08).
To be fair we can see it slowly but steadily decreased as time goes on :
- Jun 11 2018 : $9/month/patron
- Jul 12 2018 : $8/month/patron
- Oct 05 2018 : $7/month/patron
A simple logistic regression calculation (with a lower bound limit of $3/month/patron) gives us an estimate of about $5-6/month/patron CURRENTLY.
Which means that since the last update Irphaeus has taken at least $6000 from his own community and supporters each month, for a :
Total of >$36000 earned by Irphaeus with absolutely no playable content released.
Money has been plenty. Time has been plenty. If that is not dishonesty with whatever excuse he gives, I don't know what is.

I don't care I just don't want Dev to abandon the game whatever it takes even if it takes eternity. I am just glad that he's active and cares about the game. Characters like Takamura are worth it. And thanks Pitrik you are basically a light of hope for this forum.messages from the developer channel
Monthly wallpapers are replaced by big package, I will do another package next month with a new poll and new themes. Unfortunatly not, even if I had finished the testing, to add sounds and music(wich is not), there is still hundred of script page to review.

I'm sorry it's just impossible to review all the script, to add sound and stuff within that delay. a bit retroactive since I will add some option and scene on the way, specialy after Minami train night, another one in the train with the thug and some other that you will notice very soon But mostly you made choises and decision during the game that increased or decreased your karma... Upon a very important precise and tricky moment you will have opportunity to change that, if you don't the karma will decide witch route you take Forcing on Minami already decreased your karma a lot, and if you kept getting bad karma over and over the opportunity to 'redeem' yourself could not be enough Also think that redeeming yourself may be totally not in your interest if you want to get revenge and discover what really happened

Nope. This dev takes money each month. Patreon clearly shows the difference on a given developer's page. If it was the case the patreon levels would have been "$X per update" and not "per month". Please think a bit. We're talking about money, with legal activities. Organizations are mandated to show this kind of information to customers.
I'm with you on that. We just need to show Irphaeus that he needs to be held accountable of what he owes to his community. And I hope my post will make people move. Stop giving him money until he makes an update. It's obviously the biggest source of money at his disposal. So he won't abandon it. The reward is too high.

look at the line graph you posted on the right he does lose Patrons, but he gains new Patrons. The line graph dips then raises, dips then raises. That implies every month he loses "old" Patrons who chose to end their subscription, but new people who are discovering him for the first time are supporting for the first time. I'm pretty most of those current 1200+ supporters haven't supported him since the start.
You're making it sound so linear like he's been milking the same 1200+ Patrons from the start. There are a few people who have supported him since day 1 but not every one fits in that boat. There are a few variables to take into account. Such as, the new Patrons who have discovered him for the first time are playing a very sizeable VN. Because of that they feel like throwing him a donation/tip. these types of support can add up if new people continue to discover you every month.

That's not necessarily true. There are a lot of people who cancel the automatic renewal option and then pledge manually again next month. So the dips and rises don't have to be due to old patrons ending subscriptions and new people pledging. It could be due to people cancelling automatic renewal and then pledging again next month

Here we go again. The world is ending and we are getting pissy about the same issue that kept us going for the last year. I love it.

Then the trend would stay level. That doesn't explain the upward trend that we clearly see. We still see an upward trend therefore even if he retains some of his previous Patrons by renewal he's still getting NEW Patrons due to the upward trend.
I'm quite surprised that at a time like this, waifu academy and milfy city doesnt get any updates, they should have all the time in the world, at least thats what I think. Seriously, I would love to have what they have and work on the game a lot, if not, every day. It sounds hard, but also fun to craft a story/your world even if its just some dumb porn game.
Theres a middle ground between bi-weekly and 2 updates a year

Ignoring the drama, this game is excellent. Easily one of my top 3. MC is /ourguy/ and I really enjoy the plot. Can't wait for more.
