If we were still in 2018 then this is a solid update... back when he delivered almost monthly. But for taking 9 months, naw, this is 2 months of work for him and 7 months of collecting cash. Still a good game but if you're current on what he's done then forget about it.

Not myself, The66 Just updated his port here & it's a Mega link & it works fine, I just DL'd it >;DAnyone else noticing a lack of Mega links on the new updates from the Latest updates page? I mean, I'm not complaining about something for free...just noticing something, is Mega kicking off porn now also?

I haven't played too many projects on here focused on the game aspect, but I generally stay interested in VNs for longer. The devs typically string along a bunch of girls that you want to bang, but you have to wait your turn with each of them, and the anticipation makes the final act so much more rewarding. With games, you might spend some time unlocking or grinding certain characters, so it's not like there's a lack of anticipation... Hm, I guess with games, characters generally don't have as much time to grow on you though. They're often better for a quick fap than a VN. I guess it comes down to what you want and how the dev fashions their project.
You brought up a good discussion. If I had to judge your examples though, I would say Waifu Academy tops Solvalley School because of its story (and lack of a hideous MC). The VN format works because Irphaeus keeps (most of us) us interested. I want to keep on reading after my fap. With Solvalley, I close the game after I'm done my fap.
Edit: Gotta shout out Zombie's Retreat, because that's a game worth playing even after your fap.
Does anyone know what they used to make this game? I am so curious with the models and the settings. Was wondering if they used honey select too.

Yea that's what I figured, I've always been so interested in the development process of all these things cause I had wanted to work on a project as well. Just didn't know where to start, I'm assuming renpy also played a part potentially since the logo on the file itself.

Yeah, the titles of F95 threads will indicate the software for the scripting and programming. So this is made in Renpy but uses images and animations from Honey Select.
How is ver 8.0b 2.96GB while ver 8.0a was 3.88GB? Can this be right? Are you meant to overwrite files?

im with geordie on this,, i have tried most of the others, an same result , they dont work... mega is the only stable one that works... .. for me. and yes i have an older system an live in a remote area...

It went so long before last update that I kinda lost interest in the story. This time, I skipped through all the dialogue, saved at each choice, and tested what each response did. lolLets hope we don't have to wait for another 7 to 8 months before release....because for me this story is best and well i'm hooked on this one completely.....
I don't even care, at this point, I guess cause if the story isn't smooth flowing, and has really long breaks in the middle, it kinda ruins it for me. I don't remember the majority of previous material.

So - you don't remember the previous story/material, don't really care, so why not start over and see where this has gone? Or just not bother? I have been looking forward to this for awhile and will start over as it has been quite awhile - I can't remember where everything was as of the last update....waiting for the 0.8b compressed version...

the problem is that jdownloader is why goddamn mega links are masked now. its driving me crazy cause it was such a stable download.

If the dev returns to a normal update schedule, or at least reasonable, I probably will start over, at some point. But, for now, since I have no clue how long it will be till the next update, I see no reason in starting over at this point.
Reason: I've done that in the past, with other games...start over, wait 8 months, start over again, wait 8 months, start over again...and it kinda just makes more sense to me to just wait and see if it starts getting back on a normal schedule, so I don't replay from the beginning over and over again. lol
