I decompressed the images from Version 0.9.8 Part One and Version 0.9.9 and compared how much graphic content the dev made in his 9 months of work. Well 0.9.8 P1 contains 5904 images, sounds and animations. To be exact 5248 images, 316 sounds and 340 animations. In 0.9.9 there's 6494 files in the image folder (5764 images, 351 sound files, 379 animation files). This huge update give us 516 new images (including the previews, teasers, etc.), 35 new sounds and 39 animations. Looks much but... well, he started in 2017 to made this game and released it first Feb. 2018. That's not really much content for this time.

I might be remembering things wrong, but didn't he say he was finishing the game in a couple of updates 1 or 2 years ago?

you arent remember things wrong as his new game Waifu Hunter was supposed to be in development 2019 and made by 2021.

at least its still going, and from this update it still seems it has a lot go go on for, he is closer to his goals but still far from being the big guy, and that is the goal have all the girls and power.

You can find some of them missing since theyre behind a big ass LOCKED dialogue choice, but ive found no way to unlock them this time around.
Some of the following has been missing for me:
Bad karma chikan scenes with Elizabeth and mom, bad karma continuation of eyeglasses girl (completely forgot her name) on the train, recruiting gang members, some minor scenes with Shinji's mom, idr if there are others, maybe something with the teacher, i remember Keiko had more scenes, rough ones. Funny thing is, good karma rapey things are there, so maybe the bad karma path is getting reworked. Weird because it felt pretty well written and sometimes really fun.
All in all there may be more cut content than added tbh.

I've never played this one, was waiting for the bad karma stuff to be done... but from what you're saying I'll grab the old 0.9.8 one to try before it disappears (the compressed version was still there)... the mod is for that version too so it's probably a win all around.

This game is pretty good, hits a lot of checkboxes for a waifu game. But at some point, the puns and innuendoes become too much to bear. It becomes very obvious one guy was writing this and having too much fun doing it. Yes, it's fun to have it once in a while, but not the majority of the time because it's overbearing and cheesy too.

Removed content is always a really bad sign to me; I agree, compressed 0.9.8 should be archived along with a compatible WT mod version if Dev has started to remove/"reimagine (poorly)" large chunks of what was a great game. Change of graphics engine/character models was bad enough, but taking out some of the most memorable scenes for unclear reasons seems ass backwards to this observer.

Yeah dude, Brooke, the chick who works at the minimart, is several YEARS past due for a real h-scene. There are a BUNCH of existing plotlines that have barely been developed, adding new side chicks is obvious filler content.

Thats becuase they never were actually in the game those "routes" have always been locked, Karma/route aren;'t actually tracked never have been and probably never will be the only choice as a player you ever had was slight deluge changes in sex scenes

the routes choices have also been "The one and only choice", "gameover" "WIP".. check the code Lol whenwever the game says +/- karma you'll relaise the code only has dialogue that says that but it isn't even tracked and no varaible to go with it either.

for example the train scene

"Punchdeath" leads to game over "bargainplus" is just a loop back to the menu which means its a dead end no matter what you pick so you have to go back to the last option you picked presiouly where only one options allow you to continue

which is "This has gone too far," otherwise the other choice just lead to the deadend loop

Every single one of the karma choice are like that

agian first option leads to a gameover 3rd option leads to a loop back agian so you can only pick the second option to continue

There is no choice in this game only the illusion of choice. you either pick the right choice or get stuck or gameover.

There is only one choice in the entire game that is tracked/remember (that i can think of) and its what you do with the potion vial and thats just if you used it or not basically that choice just decided whos content you get either the teachers or yokos.

Technically last update was 0.9.8.5 and this one is 0.9.9, so you see, these are in total 15%~ish of one of the upgrades out of the two, so he's still on track!

Pretty sure they've said they don't plan for the karma/other routes to be implemented until the base route is finished
