yeah.. WSS, DVVr, Dance XR...

new shit coming out constantly. i m soo done with this.

take years to release a update with a few models (same models that use different color or outfits are considered different, hence the "thousands new models per update."), same goes with dance, animations and such.

overpriced now, like seriously.

i understand that there is work todo, but seriously... every model is ust taked from MMD and adapted (re-rigged, that take what ? 10 minutes max per models), scene can be also taked from MMD or simply converted into the format, then just loaded (i made hundreds scenes for myself, it's not hard), same goes for dances and animations....

DVVR aint different, in fact it's even easier as you just drop models from xna,MMD,etc. into it and voila.

was nice before, but now it definitly not worth it. it's honestly terrible and a scam.

Is there a list of all the character models available?

Don't really want to download a game this huge only to found out characters I like aren't included in it.

He used to post a preview video for every release together with dl link on Vrporn.
I think this time we can espect a load of lewded Genshin Impact models by lookin at his videos on the latest 6 months.
Not a big fan (they look sad), but I have to say that I dld'ed his Mona and it's well made.

I mean, I'm not really looking for preview or video for the latest models or something.

All I need is a simple text list of the entire characters available so I can simply search in if a character I like exists in this game.

I mean... than you either become a patron or just wait as everybody.
Ver 3.6 is not available yet 4 public.
Besides every single char he ever used is found on the internet for free, the only work he puts in it is a certain degree of upgrade and IK bones. and I appreciate his work.
be patient man, it's been almost 1Y since last update.
In this whole time he's dedicated to DVVR, but as I was thinking that's just a gimmic.

ok, I downloaded the standalone, then found the complete and I'm even more confused, there is so much fluff, characters that are literally the same but have higher resolution textures or something, why are all of the variations of characters not just in a popout tab? there are also loads of incompatible files, even in the standalone. The UI is freaking terrible with essential tools (like adding another character) hidden in menus. and moving anything is not so fun, especially if you want to line something up, like, I don't know, making 2 characters have sex. the title of the game. there needs to be a way (or a much more clear way) to attach 2 characters' animations together (I read the manual and didn't see anything about it if there is please enlighten me).

The characters themselves are of good quality, leading me to believe they were ripped from somewhere, especially since the game has a mix of anime and realistic 3d characters, as well as having characters that are just furniture. the scenes are fine too, with some of them having the same quality, so I think he actually made some of those. the animations are smooth too, with the sound not being horrible, the dance really needs to be in a different menu than the sex though, selecting a motion just to get my ears blasted is not fun.

overall it has some upsides and I can see why people like it, it just needs so much work on the menus and the controls. hell, even an in-game tutorial or just a way to pull up keybinds like in Koikatu would help the games learning curve a lot, with some time put into QoL this could be good. if you couldn't tell already I played this without VR, I wouldn't want to play this in VR either, jacking-off without awareness of your surroundings can get you in trouble lol.

I find it out by myself a long time ago and it was a pain in ass , to attach them like you said;

Exemple :
1°) Load character ex: Elsa Anime
2°) Character setting + Add Character ex : Sin Sack
3°) Character setting + Change active character + select Elsa Anime (in our case)
4°) Load motion + Filename order (it don't matter, filename/recent/creationTime order) + select a Motion you want this character to do in our case I want Elsa to act like a girl so I choose by exemple : Couch Cowgirl - Izumi (because Izumi = Girl too)
Now she start moving. (y)
5°) Character setting + Change active character + select dildo (in our case)
6°) Load motion + Filename order (it don't matter, filename/recent/creationTime order) + select a Motion you want this character to do in our case I want Sin Sack to act like a guy (or a girl with strap-on or anything with a boner real or not) so I choose : Couch Cowgirl - Guy
Now he start moving too . (y)
7°) Now you need to stick them together you need to push button Y on X-box controller once (it could change depending on your device oculus_quest/rift/ps4 controller, etc...) then a new thing appear on your screen -> "Character move mode"
now you can move the last "selected" character with the controller stick it's a patience game at this point.

Ps: each time you push the button you change the mode : Move/rotation/characterbone rotation/... you need the first one "character move mode" to bring them together with ease, let's play with the other features when you've got the basics.

Thank you for the reply, it's a great example and your instructions are clear, I hope for your sanity you never enter tech support. I'm using keyboard and mouse and I managed to figure this out in about an hour or 2, my point was wanting a system like Illusion uses where actors get snapped together for scenes and the animations are linked, so that you don't need to manually move them together to attach them. If i could ask you one more think however, it would be if you ever found a way to get the animations to sync, mine had a considerable desync.

You're welcome.
I never got a desync but I think those steps can do the trick.

"Character setting" ---> Scroll down until you find "Select motion synch character"
select the characters you want to be synchronized

just tell us if it work.

WSS is not very intuitive or easy to use since it's based off MMD, much of my time tweaking it was spent navigating menus over and over and deleting models I didn't care for manually from the game folders. Best way I found to do this was moving all models out and working/pruning only a handful of them at a time, restarting the game afterwards with the next set of models loaded, else I found there were just too many to make sense of. Once it's all done though you will have a set of your fav models, motions and fields which you can then proceed to save scenes for. Over a long time I have made a number of scenes that I can just rotate characters on without fear of something hideous popping up infront of me anymore!

DanceXR/DVVR (also by LedyFraggy) is supposed to be the solution to this since it's built to use models and motions from MMD, but with a cleaner and easier to navigate UI and better lighting etc. I still don't think that DXR is anything great yet since it's scene selection and swapping is still a bit clunky, doesn't work with KB/Mouse in VR as well as also not having the "Select Virtual Window" feature, which I've modified and added many different sized/angled screens to. Basically this allows you to clone any window/video player on your PC in the game which is pretty cool imo. The performance and graphics are great tho but the down side to that is it makes bad models/motions look even worse too.

If you want more tips on playing WSS theres also this post on reddit that has a lot of info. Once you get all the models and scenes configured to you personal tastes I really think it does start to show potential here, just be prepared to sink a handful of hours in at the start.
