agreed. one of the things i most dislike about VN's is the gross overuse of tattoos. most of them are skulls and shit. pointless unless on a character like a biker like in the game Long Road Home which by the way is one of my fav VN's. try it if you haven't yet. but yeah i hate tattoos on women they look awful mostly. seems almost every dev uses them though. i guess ultimately that's their choice.
The walkthrough was for the last update, but has been updated now. That's why your game ended where the last update finished. Re-install the game with the updated walkthrough and you should be good.
