Yes, exactly. Do I have the list of IPs on my machine to provide you? No. Do I have the statement by the F95 Staff about data being transferred, etc.? Yes. I would trust them over someone just claiming it's false because there's no "concrete proof" I personally can provide. So do what you will with what I said, but I didn't just make the statement before baselessly.Read the very first post:
WARNING: We urge all users to block the game executable in your firewall before playing. The game is sending over an unknown amount of information to a private server, which the developer might be using for malicious purposes. Be careful!
In that link, the developer actually posted the IPs of people who simply downloaded and played the game.
So just to understand... tomorrow morning I wake up and post random IPs took from somewhere claiming they've been got from someone, and it's 150% true that I'm saying the truth? Oh. I got the point. The kind of drm system that the game use is 150% clean, the only one who got the users data is Patreon, since it works through Patreon Webhook and Patreon APIs, there are tons of forks of these Drms around the web and github ... You can put on Glasswire or some other monitor and see that the unique data that will be sent will be the code that the user will input, since it has not even crypted through SSL or some other sort of encryptionYes, exactly. Followed by evidence that you clearly don't understand. I think we're done here.So just to understand...
Yeah, I think it all comes down to your personal feelings on the matter. If you are more of the err-on-the-side-of-caution personality, then don't even bother downloading. If you're instead a caution-to-the-wind person, then install and enjoy. It's just a matter of personal preference on the matter. I'm more of the former (anyone in power anywhere is generally untrustworthy IMO), so I won't install and play anymore. Please excuse me, Gentlemen, but I 'm lost now, I am afraid.
The real point should seem to be here, in my humble opinion anyway, not if or what Kravenar Games are using.
But if a severe warning by this Forum moderators (whatever) about this game is true.
So my question is, in conclusion: should I trust them? And why?
I think I already have a quick answer at hand too.
That was the reason because I decided to not install anything could have even the far chance to "mask" or hidden its tasks at not fairly and previous declared purposes, with a behavior I leave anyone of you fellows to evaluate if is it legally allowed or tolerable, or not.
May sound this legalese, perhaps? But why not, due the kind of matter?
With best regards.
there are nothing wrong with the engineGame's engine is meh.
Controls is meh.
Black screen waiting for 3 seconds after anything you do is terrible.
Bugs are there
And remembering things about dev i do not recommend to even install it. Even less to support it.
