My guess is that at least 2-3 people have complainted to the Developer for the way characters look like or something like that and that make him take the decision to remake them....

Supposedly they will only remake the first three chapters, with the first chapter already finished.
I remember reading that when they finish the remake of chapter 2, they will continue the main story with chapter 8 and then do the final remake of chapter 3.

Hello everyone, dear supporters! Let's dive into our weekly development update.
I've just completed the scene I was working on, and it turned out excellent. You may remember the scene where Jaqueline wakes Lily in her room, only for them to be surprised by Russo, who is searching for Lily. This scene, which appears in Chapter 2, has always been a bit confusing.
Previously, Lily's room had wide-open windows while she slept, and we faced significant issues with the lighting, which fluctuated from too dark to overly bright. At that time, I made excuses in the dialogue because I didn't know how to adjust the lighting properly in a closed environment. Additionally, the background image visible through the window kept changing positions, which was an obvious error.
The advantage of redoing parts of the initial game is that we can correct these common early-project mistakes, especially when we're still getting the hang of 3D programs and image editing. Now, all these issues have been resolved. I'll share some images from the beginning of the scene so you can see the improved ambient lighting and integrated images in this remaster of Chapter 2.
To address the window problem, I added curtains to Lily's room. The room itself remains unchanged since it appears in other chapters, and I don't want to alter every scene where Lily appears in her usual room. The lighting is now consistently darker. Lily mentions to Jaqueline that she hates brightness and prefers a dark room, so the more gothic lighting prevails throughout the scene, giving a more vampiric tone to Lily and Russo's confrontation.
I'd love to share more images from the scene, but I don't want to spoil the atmosphere of the chapter. Let's keep the excitement contained for now and await the release of the fully remastered chapter soon.
Another confusing part of this scene was Anabelle's arrival, where the choices were complicated. Now, the options are clearer and more straightforward. All the dialogues are being refined, but my current focus is on creating scenes and rendering images. I believe we're nearing the final stages of the episode in terms of scene creation and image rendering. I'm excited to share all the changes made in this remaster of Chapter 2.
The scene I'm currently working on involves deciding which girl you will leave the place with. In the old options, you could choose to go alone, with Anabelle, or with Lily. These options remain, but now you won't miss out on meeting the other girl. All the encounters will happen, but you still need to choose who to go with first. But that's a topic for the next DevLog.
Now, let's talk about the schedule for creating new episodes of W2H. As you know, I'm carrying out my plans to redo the initial part of the game, and Chapter 2 is taking more time than Chapter 1. This was already anticipated in my schedule, as Chapter 2 of W2H is significantly larger than Chapter 1. With all the new changes in the remastered Chapter 2, it becomes even more extensive than the original version, requiring more development time.
With this in mind, I've decided that after completing the remake of Chapter 2, I will take a break from the remaster to focus entirely on creating Chapter 8. I don't want to delay the story development due to the remaster of Chapter 3, which, among the initial chapters, needs the least modifications at the moment. Therefore, I can leave the remaster of Chapter 3 to be completed after Chapter 8.
Here's the schedule so everyone can understand better:
Chapter 1 Remaster -- Completed
Chapter 2 Remaster -- In development
Chapter 8 -- In development (To be released after the remaster of Chapter 2)

100% agree. I don't think it needed a remaster anyway. But finish that first before moving on. I'm not gonna bother playing chapter 8 until it all gets put together. No point playing two separate games.

I agree to didn't really think it needed remaster, I started this game because of the shit show Bite turned into with it's remaster and thought it would be good alternative and it was, really enjoyed it and then remaster, I can't win LOL
So after playing it a bit it seems like you can have a harem but harem route is basically keeping them all as basically friends with benefits (no romantic love between you and any of them)? Or you can choose maybe two to have a throuple with? Or did I miss something?

Development Status: Rework Cap02 #8
Hello, dear supporters! Let's kick off our weekly development update.
Firstly, last week I couldn’t post our development status because I was busy with repetitive tasks, working hard to finalize all the renderings. However, I realized that some specific renders were still missing in certain scenes, so I had to create a few more images to address these gaps.
Today, we'll discuss what we have completed so far, what is still missing, and the anticipated release dates for the remake of Chapter 02 of W2H, which is finally approaching.
I have finished the most time-consuming scene of Chapter 02. This scene, which was previously divided into three different routes, has now been streamlined into one, dedicated to the Harem tag. This is the scene where you need to choose who to proceed with: Anabelle, Lily, or go alone. This scene was quite labor-intensive and made the chapter significantly larger than the previous one since now you have three encounters in one night and specific scenes with each of them. These scenes will only not occur if you choose not to pursue a deeper relationship with the character in question.
Let me give a simple example: in the remake of Chapter 01, we have two options with Anabelle: you can treat her as your vampire sister or decide to have a romantic relationship with her. If you chose the non-romantic route, you will still have a scene together, but with a normal friendship dynamic. If you made choices for Anabelle to be a romantic interest, you will have a complete scene with her, including exclusive adult scenes. The same goes for Lily: you can decide if she becomes your best vampire friend or rekindle a childhood romance. In both choices, you will still have scenes with Lily, but choosing to maintain a romantic bond guarantees an adult scene.
In the route where you go alone and end up meeting Myuki at the bar, the exciting bathroom scene has been significantly improved. The animations are at a much higher level compared to the old 10fps version, and now you will see a clear improvement in the animations of Myuki and the MC in the bar's bathroom.
With this scene completed, my work now is to finish the final part of the renderings, which is the final scene of Chapter 02: the cemetery scene. This scene has a major plot twist where the MC reveals he knows Kevin's plans. Although I like this scene, it had some subtle errors that have now been adapted and explained in detail. The plot still exists, but in a more impactful and clear way.
What bothered me the most was the lighting of the environment. I know I’ve mentioned this several times, but now the images clearly show that you are in a nighttime setting, except, of course, when the scene occurs indoors with controlled lighting appropriate for the setting.
So far, we have approximately 1000 images ready and rendered, with the final cemetery scene still to be completed. I believe I will need around 300 more images to provide the necessary realism for this remake. With this number, we have already doubled the images of the previous version, which makes me quite happy. However, I feel a bit sad for having underestimated the work needed for this Chapter 02 remake. It is proving to be much more difficult than I imagined, being considerably larger than Chapter 01, and therefore giving me twice the workload. But I am happy to be doing this work and am very grateful that most of you are still here with me, supporting this rework.
It's difficult to define an exact release date for the Chapter 02 remake, but my goal is to have everything ready by next month. After completing the renderings, the next step is to work intensively on the new dialogues, refining and improving every conversation between the characters, something I do with great care and attention.
In the previous post, I mentioned the future plans for W2H and the release schedule, where we would have the Chapter 02 remake followed by the direct development of Chapter 08. I received some messages from players suggesting it would be more interesting to release all the remakes first. I have decided to create Chapter 08 first because I don't want the story to be stalled for too long. However, I would like to know your opinion, my supporters, on this matter. I will leave a small poll here to understand what you think: should we release the Chapter 03 remake or Chapter 08 first?

Hello everyone, dear supporters! Let's go for our weekly development update.
I've been working on the last scene of the W2H Chapter 02 remaster and I'm loving the new cemetery renders. The scenes are more vibrant and of much higher quality than the old ones. The darker settings and some spotlight illuminations have brought the scene to life in a very interesting way. Check out the preview images I've included in this post to see for yourselves.
All the scenes are set up, but some still need to be rendered. The image quality has improved significantly, but this also increases the rendering time, which is unavoidable. It's worth the wait for better images, no doubt about it. This week, I’m working on the obscene animations we’ll have with three of our girls. Just like in the old Chapter 02, we have obscene scenes with Anabelle, Lily, and Myuki, but now you decide if you want to delve into the erotic scene or not. I can say it won't be as pornographic as the old version. There will be hot moments between them, but this time there will be more closeness and emotion, not just stripping down and starting a sexual relationship without any intimate conversation beforehand.
Remember, one of the main tags of the game is romance, and this will be well explored in the game. I want the player to be attracted to the girl not just for the sexual scene, but also for the romantic dialogues, the well-developed closeness, the affection, and the couple’s playful interactions. You can expect this in the new chapter.
And remember, if you didn't get into a particular girl's route, the scene will simply occur without intimate or obscene closeness. Even so, there will still be a scene of friendship between these characters.
Unlike the remastered Chapter 01, this Chapter 02 will have a final animation. I'm working on it bit by bit, and it will certainly be in the scene of the big plot twist where the MC reveals and exposes Kevin, showing that he already knew about his plans and intentions. It will be a mix of images and key plot scenes that will give extra life to the scene and the twist moment. I believe the animation could be around 1 minute long or maybe a bit more.
Unfortunately, some renders got delayed this weekend. Malicious links ended up infecting my computer, and I had to do a thorough cleanup of my disks, backups, and a fresh reformat of the W2H computer. It's really frustrating; there’s always someone trying to sabotage your work. Fortunately, I maintain as much security as possible, and no permanent damage was done. I just had to dedicate time to completely eliminate these malwares from the computer, which meant keeping the computer off over the weekend when it should have been working full-time. It's okay, these things happen, and I’m glad no permanent damage occurred.
As I mentioned earlier, I'll focus on the remaining animations and bring more news to all of you at the beginning of next week, when I plan to focus entirely on the text and dialogues for the remastered Chapter 02.

What's the point of the remake? Everything is more or less the same as the original and the MC still looks like a goblin. So seriously what is the point of the remake? Can someone explain. I forgot about this game but remember liking it a year or two ago when i last played it so i decided to check it out again in my free time only for it to end before it even began. But I see it's not the version I played back then which had waaay more content. This version is supposedly the rework but I can't figure out what exactly. It feels like the most pointless rework I've seen on here especially considering the fact that the MC is still ugly af and imo that's probably the only thing that needed reworking.

Like if Dev reworks it so the Twins don't die like what would the point be even like then Its not the same game we first started playing anymore now since the plot is now been changed more in order to account for the changes which in turn cause more reworking to now say plan out the new plot later down the line which now has them alive.

Its just a ploy now it seems like to "Sound Busy" while literally Dev just Re-Rendering Old images to look better but seeing they don't work well so then makes Completely new renders which in turn slows the overall progress because the chars looks aren't the same anymore and your trying to reach that little bit of flair and sparkle they had Pre-rework But to which now its like lifeless dolls that just look through everything and feel like have no actual Character to them now.
It is sad how this game has fallen now from what it was.
Still don't understand why Dev Couldn't just make the Real First Chap 8 Version but as the Reworked Content and then just finish the game that way and when game was done then just make a reworked version after but Dev just wanted to Re-Make everything.........
