You should put that in your signature! If nothing else, I just wanna be the Daz butthole pioneer.
I think title would be better. Instead of "well-known member".You should put that in your signature!
Not every user can. As far as i know only people with badge like you. Devs, uploaders etc. But i don't know how they do it. Maybe it unlocks something in settings. They also can add some cool little icons next to their user name.I'll have to sleep on it, I didn't know I could change my title. That's cool.
Looks very cool. I like the nature outside too.IAlso, I don't like HDRI's so this is the new kitchen setup. Looks a bit prettier than the blank windows. This is a combination of 3 environments I have tweaked and changed.
But the ends of the utensils over the stove have disappeared....
I still haven't figured out how to port an android version yet, it's not that easy to do. But once I learn every update will also be released for android.Apk version for this game guys?
Isn't that HDRI? It's definitely oversaturated compared to what I was expecting. Also, I don't like HDRI's so this is the new kitchen setup. Looks a bit prettier than the blank windows. This is a combination of 3 environments I have tweaked and changed.

The saturation is the camera response I use for the game now. This would be an HDRI environment, it's a 3d character (or room) with a real-life environment. It looks nice as a backdrop and you can apply an alpha shadow (so the character gives off a shadow) but you can't interact with it, it's just a backdrop.Isn't that HDRI? I get that you're using photo backgrounds, but I'm a little confused about the HDRI part. Are you saying you don't want to use photos as environments, but you do like them as backdrops? If so, then I suppose HDRI photos specifically might make sense because they might mesh with CGI better, but I really don't know. The saturation is the camera response I use for the game now. Sorry, maybe I said it confusing. I don't like hdris and photo backdrops, I don't use them. Unless your characters look perfect (mine do not) they will look out of place over a photo.I get that you're using photo backgrounds, but I'm a little confused about the HDRI part. What did catch my eye was that the rendered room was also heavily saturated - but then maybe it always was.
Oh, I see. So rather than going the HDRI route for backdrops you've seen others do, you've opted for a rendered and saturated backdrop instead, presumably for consistency. That makes sense, and keeps some options open.Sorry, maybe I said it confusing. I don't like hdris and photo backdrops, I don't use them. I hope it keeps catching people's eyes! About a week ago I started using a Kodachrome camera response within my renders. I love the way it looks, and no one else is doing it (or knows how to do it).
One of the reasons you won't see devs play with settings too much is because of time. Iray takes a long time to get a full scene without noise, so getting a lighting setup right can take a good portion of the day.Oh, I see. For what it's worth, I don't think that kitchen looks anything like Kodachrome photos did. It looks like you're trying to make it look less realistic, which is something I have seen a lot of games try by various means. The color palette is "obviously" a hugely important part of the feel of a game, so debating it would be high-order backseating - but personally I would claim color temperature and shadow are rarer things to see people to fiddle with than saturation and sharpness.
Haha, didn't want to tag you and bug you. Unfortunately later this year Octane v4 is gonna be free (with a max of 2 GPUs, no network rendering, and you have to be online to use it). Those with regular licenses (like me) can have up to 200 GPUs, Network Rendering, and offline licenses.I don't use it yet but plan to. Been teaching myself it last little while. I didn't want to switch render engines mid game was all. You can add Neo X to your list. His stuff is nice and all in octane.
with all the time we save with octane, it worth every $ in my opinionHaha, didn't want to tag you and bug you. Now I just have to get 200 GPUs, or I wasted $600 last year. :FeelsBadMan:
That was really in depth. Thank you for the review. :happyblushYo. I finally got around to playing your game. I like it, I'm impressed I wrote a preview for it onYou must be registered to see the linksI can't wait to fully review it when you've added more. For anyone who thinks I'll be gentle cause you're a female, clearly they don't know how to fuck cause I will rate your game hard. lol Keep going, finish it and make more.

So a while back a female game developer carnalcardinal welcomed me to try out her game. "Feel free to give my game, Welcome to Temptation, a try. Very simple and straightforward (no game-overs, no grind, few branching paths). 100% original Daz models (sculpted by yours truly) and the storyline revolves around a young man living with his girlfriend's family." So I finally did.
Right off the bat she has redesigned the main menu to what has to be one of the best designs I've seen. I thought it was super cute and I love the animation background, everyone should be doing animation backgrounds for their main menus. I thought okay, she put some time into the GUI so I'm gonna explore first, I clicked the Wiki and.. crash. Ah crap. I will ignore that for now but yeah, it crashes when you click on it right from the jump.
Moving past the Wiki, which when you do get into it is very detailed, clearly she thought about these characters before making this game, backstory and all. Deep stuff Carnal Cardinal. Going the extra mile I see. Anyways first thing I see is a Male character, who I shit you not looks like a younger version of Solid Snake from my absolute favorite game, Metal Gear Solid. Epic win on the male character choice, good job! Obviously I named him David.
I don't really understand why you give me the option to jump to different Episodes though, are you thinking about saving people time? I'm not sure what's going on here. We have a save file so why bother with that? I say don't call your versions episodes just keep going until you hit version 1 and then call that Season 1. Close shop and work on Season 2.
When the cell phone popped up I won't lie, I said uh oh.. entering Man of the House territory, he owns the market on cell phones in xxx games. This design is cute though and It doesn't distract from the game. All in all I was eager to see what this game has in store for me. I didn't expect much being v0.3 and all but BAM sex scene right from the jump. And it read like what real life sex sounds like, that's some good fucking writing right there. Holy fuck the writing in this game is well thought out.
Carnal Cardinal knows she's making a porn game and doesn't make you wait. I think Vivid should hire her to write scripts for their actual porn movies. I'd like to see her words in actual pornstars mouths. Storytelling is this developers strong suit and it shows. The Art is sexy AF as well don't get me wrong but the animations (you and I both know that's not an animation) needs work but I'll allow it. (pause .5 repeat if you want to keep it going.)
This game is meant to played straight though making choices and see where they lead you and then playing it again and making different choices. Choose your own adventure style story for sure. From what I played what you pick does effect future choices or I might be wrong. The writing is just so good I believe that that's something she would program into her game. Only suggestion I would make is to add music to the game to be honest, something about this game makes me want to hear music. Not cheesy porno music but some kind of ambient song.
All in all definitely a game to keep an eye on. Who ever said only men are pervs clearly does not know shit about women or has yet to discover how to fuck. Thankfully this female Developer knows how to deliver the goods and could easily wrap a man around her pinky finger if she wanted to, with her words alone.
I won't rate it as I don't rate games on preview's but I was looking for a low version game to preview and I'm happy I picked yours. Those of you who haven't given this game a chance, check it out, she'll probably have you busting after the second sex scene. Keep going and finish this game Carnal Cardinal.

I honestly wouldn't be able to make a game without. With my 2 jobs, I have at best 4-5 hours a day to work on this game, and that's if I devote all my free time.with all the time we save with octane, it worth every $ in my opinion
