It's curious to see how this kind of criticism and missinformation always come all together within a few minutes.
That's because unfortunately most people here just read the last 3-4 messages (the one on the latest page) and add their own, without bothering to go back even 1-2 pages to read messages that would easily discredit their criticism.

I can’t wait for the Gretta update. Would love to cuck her piece of shit husband. What a gorgeous character (Gretta, not her husband lol).
I LOOOVE Gretta.
But personally, it has absolutely nothing to do with her good-for-nothing husband.
I love her for who she is: a sweet, caring, compassionate, generous, cheerful and lovely woman.

I couldn't give two shits about what that a**hole thinks about it, it still wouldn't change my mind about Gretta in the slightest.

Totally hear that, but I personally dig the taboo of netori. It adds a bit of kink that works well.

Anime tea is tea served for Myrtle that will drug her in hilarious way. One glass to rule them all are Abe's glasses that will turn Celestia (that ugly old village woman) into a Busty Red Riding Hood. And yes, the glasses whispers to you and Sauron flashed before your eyes when you wear them.
oh yeah u guys aare right i remember the glasses but i forgot myrtle anime style

Weekly report 62
Hi everybody.
As you know from last week's report, we've been busy testing the content of the 0.5 update, and it's great to see everything coming together. There is still a lot of fixing, completing, and polishing work yet to be done for it to be ready for release, but we like what we've done so far and think it has nice and fun moments. I really hope you all will enjoy it too. It is hard to estimate the amount of content, but I think we can say that 0.5 will roughly have the same play-time as that of Myrtle's release.
Here's a more detailed summary of our work last week:
Chestnut:
In addition to working on cutscenes, she helped me test the game thoroughly and pinpoint the parts that needed improvement. She drew new expressions for the MC and Simmone and edited others that were necessary. She also drew the art for one of the sex scenes, preparing it for animation.
Pistachio:
I have continued testing the content of the next release and, in particular, focused on rewriting, recoding, and reposing one of the scenes that didn't work well. That is done (you can see a spoiler image from it ). Chestnut prepared the base artwork for one of the sex scenes, and I have started animating it (will finish it tonight). My plan this week was to complete editing all of the scenes from the early part of the update featuring Simmone, and although I didn't make it, there have been loads of improvements, and I'm sure I'll reach that goal by the end of this weekend.
Next week's plan:
Chestnut will fix the frames from the first animation and add bodily fluids. After that, she will prepare all of the artworks needed from Simmone's content, drawing some and finishing the rest. Additionally, she will work on other cutscenes and backgrounds that are yet to be completed/designed and start work on other sex scenes.
I will code the sex scene and write its dialogue. I also intend to polish everything that needs to be improved in Simmone's content by the end of this weekend. Once done, I'll work on the second part of the release, and start editing and polishing everything. If Chestnut prepares more sex scene artworks, I'll stop whatever I'm doing and get animating.
That's all.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Cheers

So many of you so quick to defend as usual. Their Patreon page states:
"We release an update every 3-4 months." - This used to say every 2-3 months, before the 0.4 update. 0.3 to 0.4 took about 5 months. After the 0.5 release, they'll probably edit it again to say 4-5 months. We're already at 5 months for the 0.5 update.

Dev may as well just remove this statement from the Patreon entirely.
Should just remove that negativity, from this thread, it isn't easy to make a good 2d visual novel with likable characters and a nice visual style (and also with animations, come on), if it changes how long it takes them to put out new content, so be it, they're still working on it though, they're still giving progress updates and updating the tracker, if you're not happy with it, feel free to move on.

People defend what they like sure, but when you get unwarranted negativity? Well don't be surprised if people think you're an ass hat.

Wholeheartedly agree. I wonder why people come to spit vile about a game they don't like unless they have a horse on this race or trying to discredit one of the best adult games on the site, if not the best.

I don't think this is unwarranted, nor is he an asshat. At least that one comment you replied to was civil. I mean, you didn't even answer the guy, you just said "game good, don't talk".

I don't quite see why people are so quick to turn the place into echochambers. Even in f95 it seems unavoidable, it's either an echochamber of endless praise or a cesspit where you're not allowed to say a single good thing.

The game is good, yes, but many porn games tend to slow down in release pace very quickly once they have sustainable income. I don't see what is so evil about having suspicions about this happening to WoL too.

For what it's worth I personally don't care when they release as they release their updates for free to begin with. I don't also care for playing devil's advocate, but in this case it just seems unfair. The dude didn't really say anything to warrant that response. The thread is already little more than 95 percent "great art" comments, as long as it's within the realm relative politeness I think it's fine to have at least some """""negativity""""".

You're absolutely right that feedback, both positive and negative (especially negative) can be useful for a developer. But, for the negative feedback to be useful, it needs to be actionable. "It's too hard to find this," or "I don't like her characterization," or "I really don't like needing to kiss someone ugly" are actionable things that developers can address (and they largely have).

"You're taking too long to produce your free game," when told to two people who are already working full time 6 days a week, every week, isn't actionable.

Thanks to the devs for this wonderful game, take your time and never rush things because this game is definitely worth the wait.
