Weekly report 147

Hi, everybody.

I hope your week has been a good one. Here's a summary of our work:
Chestnut finished her art of the backgrounds and wanted to do more, but she was kept incredibly busy with the baby and the housework. On the plus side, I visited the hospital today and was told that the x-ray images show that the bone is healing well and that I can start putting my weight on the operated leg. This means that I can slowly help around the house and with the baby, enabling Chestnut to dedicate more time to work. As I believe I've said before, for the past update, Chestnut finished her tasks long before me, so we're confident that she can catch up.

I managed to do what I had planned to do, which was finish a long and complicated event and start posing new events. Yesterday and most of today has been given to editing the text for two series of dialogues and preparing them to be posed (I'll start tomorrow). I also spent a day creating and adding sound effects to some of the posed scenes.

The next week, I plan to complete the posing tasks for the two events mentioned, creating placeholder images when necessary and adding completed artwork to the game when possible. I also want to code in the newly completed backgrounds. Chestnut will return to working on cutscenes and intends to draw some of the sprite additions I've listed for her.

That's all.
Have a wonderful weekend
Cheers

That would make it 1 year of dev and the milkers can't live with that
The quality of the game is great, and they get regular updates on the "why" the current status is what it is. They can make informed decisions, so no room for blabbering.

May? I think the most optimistic date is July/August.
Not a chance. We're 8 months in and haven't reached 50% yet. Originally I taught the next release would drop around September/October of this year but realistically they'd be doing well to get the release out by December at their current rate of progress.

That's too much reasoning for the typical milker. He sees about a year of dev for 1 route and ~12 scenes = pure dev greed and Patreon should nuke their account and ban them for ever doing anything else

Always mind blown by people getting actually heated at solo/small dev teams making porn games. For free porn games. Especially games with insane -INSANE- levels of quality like this one. Y'all just gotta chill, live your life (I know it's hard), and come back every few months to check on your favorite degenerate content.
That being said. I am also impatiently anticipating any and all updates for this damn game lmao it's so good.

Looks promising. Too many incomplete offerings here though. Too many dead ends and backlogs are way too deep to play the same game over just waiting for its next content release.

I get that is the nature of user development but we need more FINISHED projects. Ill keep my eye out for this and remain hopeful but I wont start until its already done.

Dunno how you expect games to be finished when the entire goal of Patreon is to help devs actually make the game .......

Cya in ~2030 if you wanna wait for the complete game.

Also have to point out this is the 6th build, and you wonder why most of the things aren't in the game or lead to nowhere

Im not criticizing the model. Just that the model does not produce anywhere near enough completed projects.

Obviously not happy about it as we all want more of what we are here for. But it was always a 3rd world minor bitch.

But yeah I am the type who didnt play Skyrim until 2014 waiting for all the DLC to be released given its 2011 release.

Do the same with most games. As I stated, backlogs are way too expansive to replay the same game over and over for each patch. Is better to wait for the finished product.

Point remains : this isn't Steam or most other places. You get leaked versions of in-dev games. Click on tags at the top of pages and use the "completed" 1 if all you want is finished games
