So, by the same rules that allow a game to be tagged as "abandoned" here, Hollow Knight: SilkSong would be tagged as that as well. Are asking me to not get my hopes up for game too? Well you can try but you will fail. Other than that I really don't care about when the next update is going to release since I didn't even played the previous one (yet).why get your hopes up at all ? it has had the abandoned tag for ages now.
Im getting too old for this shitThe two-year anniversary of the update is coming soon

Come on man. There is some serious straw manning going on here. Hollow Knight does not remotely have the same release+ income model as WAL. Hollow knight would should up here as completed when released, if by some miracle they made it with 18+ scenes and cracked. So, by the same rules that allow a game to be tagged as "abandoned" here, Hollow Knight: SilkSong would be tagged as that as well. I think I know why people here are angry with this dev...
It was 98.3%. We're evolving, backwards.Yeh 98.0%.... Wonder what it was last time...
I posted on day 1 of this game being here and didn't even notice the 4 year anniversary came and went.Happy anniversary, bros.
TWO YEARS OF HURT!
They're making good money right now, NOT working on the game. From a financial perspective, the switch did not 'killed it'.I posted on day 1 of this game being here and didn't even notice the 4 year anniversary came and went.
The switch to longer updates really killed it, wonder how much more money they would have made with constant short updates keeping the game in peoples minds.
To me it did kill it, it's not progressed in years, the updates merely teleporting people to locations for 1 or 2 scenes instead of them being fleshed out places to properly visit killed the map. They're making good money right now, NOT working on the game. That being said, AVNs are already laborious projects, that are only completed after YEARS of work (if at all). If this is how much they can make in four years.... it can be safely said, this game will never be complete.
I'm totally with you, but consider this. If you could make potentially 2 thousand dollars a day busting your ass or 1 thousand a day doing nothing, which would you choose? For a lot of people, the latter is good enough. To me it did kill it, it's not progressed in years, the updates merely teleporting people to locations for 1 or 2 scenes instead of them being fleshed out places to properly visit killed the map.
I know how much they are getting a month, I wondered how much MORE they would be getting if they had worked at a steady pace of updates, not 1 bug a day.
