Also, Patreon actively looks around outside of what's posted in their platform. For example, they check forums or the dev's website to see if the game they post in Patreon has a "patch" or different version elsewhere, that breaks their ToS. So doing different versions hardly puts you in the clear with Patreon, if one of them is not aligned with what they allow.Initally maybe, but Patreon makes you jump through more hoops for your content(having to censor and cut thing out). As someone once put it: SS is the parent that let's you do almost anything while Patreon is the overbearing one.
