The new update is at 50% done, you can check dev’s patreon posts. It usually takes 14 days for 20%, sometimes a little more or less. Update should come out late September / early October.

I don't think there will be any in the next release as there aren't any animations in REC the other game from Kalyha wich is updated more frequently than WIAS

or cooperate with Kalyha and rework scenes for animation.
do you want animation? Well, why don't you take the job yourself? you probably have a lot of free time and your computer is idle, right? ... well, you will do a good deed - and we will thank you.
