Is it just me or is the incest patch not changing my game at all?

I think its best to forget about this game and come back at 2025, that is if this site is still on and peoplle are still interested in these kind of games. The guy has maybe 1, or 2 updates each year, and the game is a very long way from being complete.
Maybe it's not installed correctly? When you start the game you should at the very start of the game see (taken directly from the patch):

I didn't see that at the beginning of the game but after playing through the game a couple times, I did see some scenes that suggested that the MC is related to Katie, Leia, Helen, and possibly Dylan but except for like 3 scenes, their blood relation is never referenced or acknowledged. MC refers to Helen as her name instead of "Mom," or "Ma," or "Mum," etc, which is odd if he actually considers her to be his mother. And the only scene I remember seeing their blood relation being referenced was when Chief Abigail was talking to him after that blonde girl accused him of rape.
And I'm not sure how to install it correctly except for following the lewdpatcher instructions. I pasted the file into the zip file which contains Whereitallbegan-pc/game. That last folder is the one I put it in.

Yeah, how else should I play it? I've never had a problem doing it that way with other VNs.
Should I extract the zip's contents?

I'm assuming that might be it but I could be wrong since I play with it all extracted to a folder then put the patch in the /game folder but give that a shot but then again I wouldn't know that much about playing from the zip file, sorry.

EDIT: Extracting the game with the patch installed didn't change anything. Not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Are you dropping the patch.rpy file in your game folder?
Whereitallbegan>game(patch.rpy) should be here inside the game folder.

Hmm that's strange, it works for me.
How about you try the walkthrough mod, it has a mod+patch download.

EDIT: Well, that didn't seem to work. I'm only seeing the walkthrough mod's point choices and not the incest.
Is there a hidden button or something you need to press to enable full incest?

Yeah you would need to put the patch.rpy file in there and it should work as there is no patch.rpy in that folder in your screenshot.

No problems happy to help and thinking about it maybe you put the patch file in the wrong place when you loaded it from the zip file.
The game's being overhauled with new renders, cinematics, and even story to an extent. I wouldn't expect saves to work for a while until then.
