Typically i am not a fan of remakes of an unfinished game but god damn are these new renders so much better. I actually like the new Miru, and that friend she doesn't get along with is stunning.

Welcome to the 5th Dev Log.
So, we're about 550 renders in. (Not counting animations.)
And the update is more than 50% done. Chapter 2 is also as big as an update from SG. So you can expect around 70% - 90% more playtime than Chapter 1 had.
Since I first created Scarlet back in WiAB Chapter 3, I always had a problem with her eyelashes.
And tbh, I forgot about the damn bug until I started posing the current model.
But I was able to figure out what caused it all this time.
Her forearm was somehow connected to her eyelashes and hair.
Bending the forearm, also move the eyelashes and the hair. It was really weird and I discovered it while looking through the "Hidden parameters".
Glad that's solved.

Ahhhh... Good old Monica... You remember her? No?
The major reason why WiAB is getting reworked is the story. Old WiAB was a mess and had no real structure whatsoever.
Cop Monica was mentioned in the very first episode in both, the old and new WiAB. But she never made an appearance in the old one. Which did really hurt Abigail's story arc.
Anyways, now that the story is structured and thought out... She will make her entrance in Chapter 2.
Expecting the worst.
Some info about Monica.
Monica's a tall and proud girl.
She has relatively short hair, small breasts, a little bit of butt, and long legs.
Her face will be a surprise. But I can tell you that Monica is different from most other characters and I really like the diversity she adds to the cast.
I have gone back to the backyard outdoor scene and started posing the new Scarlet.
I have to admit, that I currently kinda struggle to light the place correctly during the day. It's a nice challenge but it still bothers me a little.
And we end this Dev Log with some Katie. (Katie's tits look really big there. The power of angles. But one change I made was to give her some custom sculpted boobs.)
All Renders in high res are attached for download.
One big problem with the backyard is, that the scene is absolutely gigantic with a lot of polygons.
It sometimes lags really bad when you've got around 8 people in the scene. I do plan on switching my current Blender learning routine onto Modeling for a while.
If I was able to create some environment parts myself and optimize them correctly, I should save myself quite a bit of frustration down the line.
But the WiAB Pc also isn't that great and doesn't feature the power my Workstation has. But I'm sure we'll get there eventually.
That's it for today.
I will be making another small post at the end of the month, talking a little about my personal routine and changes. As I've been working to optimize my personal life more and more.

I'm convinced everybody's just drinking the koolaid of the "enhanced" visuals because there's no way anybody's giving this a 5 star rating now when the dialogue literally got 10x worse and cringe
Like others have said the females now are written like a 14 year old boy pretending to be a girl
Nobody normal talks like this
I swear on my life the writing wasn't this bad before the big overhaul
Also the MC looks like one of the Bogdanoff twins now (RIP)

Censored refers to an overall suppression of objectionable content, like mosaics over nude scenes in Japanese porn.
The patch alters the content to include incest. Typically because certain paysites forbid that type of content.

Great rework... I have been following Ocean's games for a while... Actually a few years... I only wished my renders came out this well... Great Job !!!
Quick question. When I downloaded the patch, it just opened gimp. In the story noone has been identified as family. Did something go wrong on my end ???

IIRC when Leia is mentioned I thought it mentions her as being his sister and not his 'friend'. Later on I can fire the game up and check for sure if you need me to as I run the patch also.

In the original they were family it has been change in the remake to all being "Friends" Which is why the patch exist.
