Ocean, can you please switch to a new challenge so I don't fear your two projects can just end abruptly? Surprised no one has made a comment yet on this but I'm just a little anxious and paranoid if he truly is climbing every 4-6 months and upgrading to a bigger mt he will one day climb a beast he cannot handle. The funny thing is, that 97% of the users here that complain abount milking, scaming, whatever have not spent a single cent on this dev or even any other.
Such an arrogant fucking way to presume to decide what others do with their money.
And no, just in case you come around with the "former supporter excuse", I don't buy that you were a former "disappointed" patron of Ocean.

If there are people to blame for the absurdly long time developers take to deliver updates. It is people like this guy, pigeons who keep financing those bad habits by paying for renders and no longer regularly update of the game.
Enjoy your yearly update (if you are lucky), next one will take even more time. Because of people like you wasting money each month for nothing, they are the reasons why developers no longer work on their game. Can't blame them, I would do the same. But I can blame the pigeons who promote this attitude.
This speaks more about how unethical a person you would be if you were a dev, than 99% of the hard working devs that put quality over quantity and take their time with their game.

In my opinion, I would say small updates.
A least we would know that the game is still on dev.
There is another game where the dev has switched to weekly-ish updates. For every person that enjoys it, there is another who hates it. People are going to complain no matter what. It is best that a dev just does what they can to get their story out.

Yearly, not every game fits into a monthly release schedule frame.
It would mean that there would be stretches of 3-6 months of "boring" updates with nothing but talking, people would whine about lack of sex so the dev would have to insert awkward sex scenes here and there and rush it to keep everyone "happy".
So in a way the reason why we like the game and can't wait to play it is because we don't get to play it every month.

an important reason this can't be done is cause one of those updates might not have sex in it. I don't know if fanbois realized this by now, but ocean games have a rep of having none to very little sex in them, the coping is off the charts.

It's not a porn game, it's an adult visual novel with more focus on the story, and contains adult themes that may include sex in the future.
This is aiming to have a more realistic story in terms of human relationship, so if you're waiting for a story where MC has a giant cocks, gets to fuck all the girls after he just met them and gets to fuck 'em all, then Ocean's stories aren't for you.
