Wow, I completely forgot about this game, I remember playing the first release over 5 years ago.

The mother is just so hot, I hope the next update doesn't take years to come out.

I have not played this VN/game for a long time and I realize it is an incest based game but in all the time since it was orginally released (what 5+ years ago) is there any actual incest sex in this game? I stopped playing after a couple of years and there was no incest (except maybe a chance to roll around with his little sister in the camper van) and very little sex at all except with his girlfriend. Very few updates given the amount of time the game has been out.

I would not go as far to say it is not a really good developed game as far as graphics go. Very well done indeed and the story is fair in it's own right.

Blender has its advantages,i hope we'll see that in the future. If it's going to be long in production anyway, let it be of prohibitive quality and different from other novels that are made in daz3d
He didn't need to do it in blender.

Knowing Ocean it will. Or he'll remake it again.

One could say that the focus of this episode was story exposition instead of sex positions. If you aren't in it for the story, then well yeah it cn be quite boring. I don't know if it was quiet though. Supposedly Miru can get quite loud during sex.
No, usually I play AVNs for the story but I felt like the flow of this chapter was not up to par.

So i just played from fresh and finished the update. Just as I remember, visually game is on a very high standard and some characters are just so well done - wow! The politics of development time or content for the time it took aside... It went on longer than I expected. Multiple times I thought yup this is where it ends, but it kept going. That being said after it all I do feel it's a bit of a blue balls simulator. I really fall in love with some choices provided, but then the hype dwindles as consequences either stop too early, or get washed out (like porn career turning into photoshoot career), or setup happens for something, but it doesn't continue how you hope it would given the choices you made. Maybe it's my fault, maybe I have to give in to all the other ladies and be cold to Miru? If so, it's a cruel mockery as who would wanna be mean to this awesome girlfriend..

As last note I wanna say that I do find the language of the game and random toplessness that is not acknowledged by other characters upmost odd. Sometimes I feel like characters start talking like toddlers and random toplessness feels like MC has Xray goggles and others behave like everyone is dressed normally.

At the end of the day tho, I still wish the best for this game and I want to see where this goes... provided I am still alive to witness it, but hey maybe for future generations this could be something epic if it sees actual ending :D Cheers!

IDK. Said it before and I'll say it again - as much as I enjoy the story, having a year or more pass between updates is pretty shitty. Seems that kinda time would be better used to just focus on Summers Gone (or vise versa) to get the game updated in a semi decent timeframe as opposed to having 2 games with yearly updates almost.

Frankly it's flippin ridiculous, expecting people to keep interest with an annual release cycle.

It's like that really hot girl that occasionally asks you you to hang out, and in your mind you WANT hang out to mean one thing but you KNOW it'll really mean either helping her with something or listening to her problems. Yet everytime you see a message from her you feel giddy.

It's remarkable how much people (myself included) will let themselves be dragged around when it's by something pretty.
Unfortunately majority of gamers in general have a history of appearing as a rather addicted, easily manipulated bunch... How many times I've heard someone saying they won't buy some game, dlc etc. for one reason or another and then they do anyway... sigh.

However, with these games here it's even worse. It's hard to understand how some people don't get it that updates that take too long are bad for the game. It's in danger of not getting finished, so if you care about the game at least you should be concerned about that one little detail.

What the hell happened to this game?

As someone who played the original when it was first coming out, I can proudly say it was way more fun and engaging than the current version. While I do admit that the renders for the remake are vastly superior to the og, everything else kind of feels like a downgrade (Especially the story).

This feels like the dev is trying to make the story bigger than it really is. And don't even get me started on the update schedule. At least in the old game I understood everyone's position in the story. Katie was a little she-devil that was fun to provoke but was ultimately a sweet girl who acted out as a defence mechanism. The fact that she also had a crush on the mc but also had an inferiority complex because of the mc's focus on Leia added to her character. Hell, even og Zoey realized that she was into him the moment they met. Now remake Katie is kinda boring in comparison. Outside of some banter she's forgettable.

Miru has improved in some areas and somehow regressed in others. While her presence as the mc's gf in more notable, its concerning the amount of times she threatens physical violence on the mc when he says something that doesn't involve her. An example is the introduction of remake Dana. MC calls her jabba or fatty something as a joke between old friends. Then out of nowhere Miru comes in saying "Be grateful she took it as a joke or I'd break every bone in your body including your penis." like wtf? Where did that come from? Again, outside of her new design she doesn't have much going for her in terms of memorability.

Leia's character is weird. In the og she called the mc because of what happened to Helen but also used it as an excuse to get him back so that they could rekindle their past relationship. In the remake she doesn't even trust the mc so her calling him is completely random. And we don't even know if these two had a relationship in the past (which the og made clear very early on). Watching the og version strut and show off her dominace to the other girls made her memorable as she felt like a shark going after her prey (mc). Now outside of being angry with the mc and irritable about everything, her current version also isn't that compelling.

Not much to say about the mc except he seems so much more boring and somber now. OG counterpart was fun, relaxed and low-key a scumbag but very entertaining to watch. I mean he literally threw a cup a Katie in a bar from across the room for sh!ts and giggles, fought a racoon and got high in the woods!

As for poor Dana... This one hurts to much to even describe. Her old character was just so sweet and naive that it was actually endearing and made me root for her. Now she's a different person with the same name and different design.

My advice to all the OG WIAB fans will always be the same - stop comparing old and new WIAB and it will be easier to "accept" and enjoy the reworked version.

Surely you can discuss all the things you dislike so far compared to old game as you did in your comment, but you won't really bring anything new in here as I'm pretty sure all this stuff was discussed too many times already.

"Bringing something new" isn't a prerequisite to post anything. And frankly, most of these games develop the story so slowly that would be an inappropriate expectation anyway.

Why make any effort to "make it easier" to accept or enjoy a story? You either enjoy it or you don't. Having not played the older version, I find it interesting to read people comparing how the game has evolved.
