I would argue that Mon situation is different from those of Dana and Helen. Helen is in a failed marriage and Dana wants a specific feel that her boyfriends don't provide and she in unwilling to compromise. Mon seems to have a normal, maybe a bit boring, relationship; we don't have a reason to assume that she never had sex with Ben either. But I get your point, is not impossible. A bit about Mon still, she has enough reasons to be angry, but for the most part she just ignores William unless he provokes her, she evens try to be polite. She acts as if they don't know each other or he is not present. Maybe I am reading too much, but Mon is a character that I am invested in.About Mon, I'm just explaining how what she said could be true and not a lie. She can of course lie, or hide from her past (ie in public pretend she's only ever had sex with Ben), but her confrontation with William suggests she's not in denial, she's definitely reached anger, and stayed there. If Dana hasn't had sex with her bf (fact) and Daphne is oozing pheromones, Helen is a dry patch, why not Mon being in the frustrated category as well? There's no narrative reason that Ben has had sex with her. I'm not saying he has or hasn't, simply that either could be true, and there's a couple of ways to read what Mon's said.
And Ben IS the beta of all betas. That's why they joke about the song he wrote for Dana. So we'll find out I guess. Gina's already got the setup for Willi being a bull, so Ben will have something different to come to terms with I'm sure.
Yeah, am curious how Ocean will differentiate all these relationship, that all kinda has the same element to it.
