I am not really that fond of the new Miru, I think I prefer the previous one. But the new Zoey is really cute!

that punch is a broken thumbI'm fine with ALL my theories being retconned into insignificance. If the story is good, I like surprises. I'll still overthink the development the whole way, because we all see things differently and I love hearing how other people discover perspectives and details I've missed.
If we go by the redacted devlog, Ocean is not planning on a completely vanilla/beige sanitised game, but a stable development. What that means in practical terms can't really be second guessed. If one blood relative, why not all? Who is even a LI? Maybe Miru does cut off Willi's dick, and the NTR is Willi not bing able to do anything but sit in the cuck chair for the remaining game.
Is it though? What Ocean said in that devlog doesn't necessitate name changes. We're operating on the assumption of who is or isn't a LI, and who hasn't already been mentioned in SG. Ocean can still stealth update SG's script if he choses (I'd consider it poor form, but it's possible), or the story he's telling still has them with the same names even though not blood related. He did specifiy who wasn't related by blood, specifically. I think it's an acceptable belief if there are such things as blood relations, there are also people related but not by blood (related through marriage, adoption whatever). Even these things are up for grabs until he puts his cards on the table.
MY guess is it'll be obscure in Ch4 (unless the awkward Willi/Katie?helen hug is a moment when their pasts are explained), but there will be enough clarity to make far more reasonable assumptions than what we have now. If Ocean leaves us in limbo, well, it's going to suck to wait for CH5 to find out more I guess.

Monica was at the store as well. After William punches Abigail for standing on Miru's head, Monica arrests him, but he gets away because Sedila proves Abigail was standing on Miru's head - which happened while Sedila and Willi catch up on the past. Which he also does with Monica when she arrives, despite having punched Abigail to ahego and back. What, this was actual writing of the golden age? If by golden, you mean we mean I pissed myself laughing I guess?

Yeah, this are the question I asked myself. I understand wanting a drama free development and he is looking at year of his life. Imagine having WiaB pulled out of Steam in Ch 15 or something, I really, really don't fault him here. I just can not understand the reason of make Helen his almost mother, be she being his guardian or something like that. Better if she is nothing of the like and he changes what need to be changed to the new reality. The ambiguity, the wink wink, the landlady and tutor or anything like this is just noise. So Monica did existed back then ? Maybe I should play it paying more attention. Thought that Mon was a brand new character. I guess she was like old Kat, show and gone. Was hoping for some clue to her character as I find her the most interesting after Leia.

I know he is a AVN dev and I don't think most are handsome guys. But if Ocean is a fat fuck I will be disappointed, going by how much he talks about gym and exercise I think we can be more charitable. Maybe he is the blonde dude ?

Well, we can't understand the reason without seeing Ch4, and maybe not even then fully. He did say it had major story implications, and the further the game went, the greater the impact of this change. This is why I think it is not solely a sanitisation effort. He spoke about making one particular relationship develop more naturally.
Monica had that one scene I think, but Cecilia (Abigail's niece, not Sedila) and even Ronda had a gallery page, while Mon didn't. Maybe Ocean just decided to reboot her character as she was someone WIlliam knew from school days also. THinking abstract, if Ocean rebooted Mon, maybe we'll see Sedila as Asavera, also with rival angel wing earrings. That'd put the Nami earring theories in a spin, while promoting the idea that the Zane family are keeping tabs on Nami...
Just random conjecture with zero proof today.

Very much this, but Ocean should remember that many fans on the internet have fringe or specific interests, changing established character designs simply because a couple of fans will hurt more in the long run than do good. I doubt I would go for WIAB if I ran across it today. I loath these overlarge, lowest of porn bolt-ons which now "grace" e.g. Leia, Helen, Mila(SG) and most other female characters have a visible size-creep towards these sizes.People on the Discord and Steam maybe? I mean, it's okay to have curvy girls too, Emily in the old WiAB was far from a fit-cutie, but changing the existed, recognizable and establised characters not the best idea, it's like changing an actor in the middle of the movie. Alhough I have nothing against the new Dana, especially if there will be an option to make her fit again.
